Peerless Steakhouse Grill

Last time I was here was in the late 1970s. It was great. Looks like it still is. The program made me pick a date but it's decades off.

Ours son's girlfriend gave us a gift card to the Peerless for Christmas in 2019. At the time they were told that there could be a temporary delay due to remodeling. They were scheduled to reopen April-May of 2020. When they didn't reopen we called and left numerous messages and requested a call back with no response. I finally got in touch via email on August 12, 2021 requesting a refund. Their response is below. Hello and Thank You for reaching out, We have not received any messages about this issue. Unfortunately, there are no refunds on the gift cards, but you will be able to use them once we are reopened for a limited time (time has yet to be decided). Upon purchasing Holiday Gift Cards, the purchaser was handed a printed card to read that stated there was change coming to the restaurant and that no refund would be given. Heard good things about this place. Tried it last year before COVID. Blandest plate of food I'd ever had.

I love the Peerless..my family has been going there for 50+ years. Please reopen soon...I miss you guys!!

How much better can it get than O...M...G...!!! Without a doubt the absolute BEST food and service in the Tri-Cities, which should make the Peerless the absolute best restaurant in town.

I'll start my saying I wish I could give this place a ZERO rating because this is what it truly deserves.
This by far was the worst customer service I've ever encountered! Actually the worst restaurant experience ever! The food was highly expensive and subpar in quality.
We attended a banquet and were given a choice of 3 entrees. 6oz SIrloin ($37), chicken breast ($27), salmon($40). Or 3 "optional appetizers". We chose artichoke dip because we weren't hungry but was told we could not buy an appetizer unless we purchase an entree. We expressed we didnt want an entree and neither the waiter, nor a manager ever came to our table to try to help, with the exception of dropping off a basket of rolls that were stale and hard and filled our water. The rolls were completely inedible. Tasted like they had sat out for a week. This was the first time in my entire life that we entered a restaurant to eat and left having only drank water and the staff really didnt give a damn. Oh...only drank water because our choices to drink were water or tea. When the food arrived to those who were given an opportunity to order it looked like something prepared at Waffle House. The sirloin was actually about the size of 2 sausage patties. This place is the biggest joke of a steakhouse! It needs to be shut down or at the least, it could really use a good health department check!
The tables were dirty and the bathrooms were comparable to a truck stop bathroom! For those who think I'm ranting or just mad....go check it out.....you'll find I'm telling the truth.
Rude staff, extremely overpriced, subpar food, and freaking nasty! First and last for me. Save your money and go to Longhorns...you'll be alot happier you did and prob leave with more money in your wallet.

Great food in the hood!

My husband and I went last night and I am so disappointed! I ordered prime rib, rare. I was told there was only medium and I agreed. When the food arrived, the prime rib was very dry and the baked potatoe was dry and brown throughout! My husband ordered the filet, it was cooked ok but very bland! I have never been so disappointed in a meal. We both ate a bit and took the remainder to our pup! Probably even more aggravating was our server not once offered a manager to come out! We were just told the kitchen manager quit!?
