Driving over the road I usually try to make sure I prepare my own food...
But once in awhile you spy a little diner that gives you that vibe...
And this one sure didn't disappoint.
My burger was so delicious. It was the Penny man Burger. And with a nice little suggestion from the super awesome waitress I got the gravy for the fries and I was in heaven for the next 20 minutes I wish that burger could have lasted forever lol.
Definitely a homerun, so glad I stopped.
I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the area.
Very reasonably priced as well. Just the kind of down home diner I was hoping for.

Pennymans was one of the first restaurants my family fell in love with. Cozy, personable, and consistent. The staff are always nice and truly do put on a southern charm that you won't see many other places. This is coming from someone who doesn't do a lot of extra talking when out at a restaurant. Definitely a at home experience. I'd recommend the western hash browns if you were curious.

Highly recommend, a must go for real down home cooking like grandma used to make. Was black Friday so it was under staffed and over busy. Its a little out dated on the interior but thats the way it was back in the day. Omelets were wonderful. Biscuits and gravy were top notch. Pricing was ok.
I had their free turkey dinner on Thanksgiving, and it was the best, everything was very good and the people that own the place are top notch.
