Perplexodus Escapes - Perplexodus Mystery Manor

The Dr. Jeckyl room was a great-themed room with some clever puzzles. The interactive actor element made this one of our favorite rooms out of the dozen or so we’ve ever done. Collin was fantastic as Dr. Jeckyl and a fantastic game master. We appreciated being asked in advance if we would like help offered or prefer to prompt for it ourselves, or if we want any help at all. Unsolicited help has spoiled the experience for us in the past at different locations. Also, the location being a former funeral home added a fun, quirky vibe.

This was my first time. I really enjoyed the show and the characters was excellent. I suggest if you can go, definitely go. It was worth it. Where else can you find a mystery and have a delicious dinner for that price

Ok, now I’m obsessed with this place and must go see every new show. The acting was phenomenal! The set was beautiful! New favorite thing to do!

Good luck planning ahead…The only thing my 10 yo wanted for her birthday was to do an escape room with her friends. About 6 weeks in advance I booked Perplexodus online for a Saturday afternoon. About a week or so later I get an email that my reservation was cancelled and my deposit refunded, with no call or other explanation. When I check their availability for the same date, everything is SOLD OUT. I checked Sunday of the same weekend and there were openings. I booked for Sunday AND called to make sure there wouldn’t be an issue. A young man explained that they added the dinner show back in for Saturday and don’t run the escape rooms on those days but Sunday would be ok. I pointed out a phone call with the cancellation would have been appreciated. He apologized and said he would pass it on to the manager. I extended the invitation to my daughters friends and made all the plans…It is now Sunday morning and I receive a text at 4am that my reservation has been cancelled due to a family emergency!!! How is there no redundancy for a small business where every service they provide is likely pre-planned/requires a reservation??? There is not one single person they can fall back on as a back-up to come in and run the rooms?Thank goodness Elizabethton Escape is alsoopen on Sunday and had an opening for this afternoon. Otherwise, I would have had to disappoint 4 young girls who have been anticipating this day for weeks.

Had a great time. The performers were incredibly entertaining. And they were able to cater to our dietary restrictions with some really tasty dinner.

Great show and food

Awesome dinner show! The food was excellent and the actors done a great job. We was with a group of 40+ and they done an excellent job serving us. It was kid friendly!!

Mystery dinner show was great. Food was wonderful & plenty of it. All of the actors & actresses were so entertaining but also very nice & personable. Will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved it! We did the murder mystery dinner and it was so fun and the food was delicious. I absolutely loved all the characters and the actors killed it.. literally. Will for sure be there again!

This was so much fun! The food was great! The staff/actors were the best. We all loved it and will definitely go back again to see another show! We’ve been to an escape room as well with PerplExodus and had an absolute blast! Highly recommend!!!

So much fun for a little group activity! Beck was great and would definitely recommend!
