Can not recommend this place enough. Beautiful hidden gem in Johnson city. If you’re someone who loves gothic and a creative atmosphere this place is for you. The owners and staff are very friendly and even sell local artwork ! Support your local coffee roasters ! This place is absolutely amazing !

I’m always wanting to support local and ok trying a coffee house in a sketchy strip mall but had a terrible iced coffee and a terrible cortado that the barista made as a heavy latte. Tasted like the Kuerig needed to be cleaned. Redeemed the experience by going to Fearless a few blocks down before the highway.

Best coffee in JC. My sister lives at the Burlington and I always stop for coffee when I visit.

I loved the atmosphere, the great tasting coffee, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff.

This has been the favorite coffee shop for me and my wife ever since we found it like five years ago. Their brown sugar latte is the best latte I’ve had from any cafe, hands down. They’re cheaper, faster, and friendlier than other places. And they have a HUGE seating area. You can buy a coffee and stay here for hours chatting and working on homework.

This place is SO CUTE. Coffee is fantastic, the man who served us was incredibly sweet. The bagels were such good quality. My brown sugar latte was delicious. The seating area is unreal. Love this place. 20/10

Coffee was amazing, the atmosphere was very relaxed. Can sit there all day and just read. Will be my new favorite place for coffee.

For context I’m a goth/punk. Didn’t do any research and went to this place because it was near my apartment. It’s this little unassuming place in like a strip mall. And it is decked. out. floor to ceiling. in Edgar Allen Poe and romanticism era memorabilia. Complete with plush furniture that smells like old lady. I think I manifested this place in my dreams. Of course the star is the food and the coffee and muffin I had was delicious. I don’t think I’ll leave I think this place is my Hotel California

Great coffee and service, and a quiet but cozy area to hang out in the back. Lots of fun decorations.

Wow. This place is an absolute must visit . Unbelievable atmosphere, fantastic coffee selections with great service. The sitting area is the most relaxing spot I’ve ever been too in any coffee house …. Don’t miss this place even if you are just passing through town. It will be our new go to coffee place from now on. Only wished we lived a little closer.

Definately my favorite go-to coffee shop. The owner Smitty and his team are the best! My favorite is the OG - it's sooooo yummy and sweet. The decor in here rocks too! It's very goth and old timey. Definately worth checking out!

If Edgar Allan Poe had a coffee shop it would be less bleak than this place. Just went in for a cappuccino and it was burnt, that’s strike one. My wife ordered a latte and it legitimately tasted like watered down milk with no essence of coffee in it, strike two. The “seating area” was so dark and awkward. There was another couple in there and someone working on their laptop all sitting in dead silence, definitely not a good place to have a conversation at a normal decibel shaking my head strike three.
