So me and the family went. My mom and I both got smoked chicken sandwiches and let me tell you it had not smoke flavor. It wasn't a barbecue smoked sandwich. It was just sliced chicken. I took one bright and couldn't eat it. Mom was the same. I ordered smoked Mac and chesse again just Mac n cheese. Also we got greens and beans. The greens tasted weird I can't place the flavor. My. Mom said the beans were more liquid the beans. And the tea seemed like it set in fridge to long. The girls were nice but if you walk by and there is one bite taken out of the food you should always ask was it not good. 3 girls walked by and didn't mention. So me and my mom's food was around 40 and it was a waste of money. I would not recommend.
First time trying this place. It was fantastic! One of the best barbecue spots in Johnson City! Smoked mac & cheese was fantastic. Pizza at a barbecue place? Yes, absolutely get one of their pizzas.
Went there for the first time yesterday. Super tasty and authentic Texas BBQ. Brisket was juicy and delicious. Smoked sausage was super tasty. Smoked mac n'cheese was super yummy and savory. The cornbread casserole was perfect! Definitely coming back!
Best BBQ I've had in long time. Service was second to none.
Always delicious and consistent with their quality!
The Brisket was dry! Driest ive had actually. Sides were good and tasty, service was good. Pulled pork was good, but damn, dry brisket for a BBQ place is sad!
Best pork bbq sandwich in the region and best I've had since I can remember
Collard greens were on point
Only place in the area to get not only decent but delicious brisket
Will be back
Terrific food. It can get busy so I'd recommend going early. I went about 4 and zero wait and food was out very quickly. I got the brisket, smoked Mac and cheese, and cornbread casserole.
Took company to Project BBQ, everyone loved everything!! My husband and I had sampler plate, and was soooo delicious, brisket melted In my mouth, wonderful flavor, pulled pork which is my favorite was so so tender and savory, well seasoned, sausage had a great flavor, i am not a Spicy girl, but my husband devoured it!!! Staff was friendly and attentive! Will definitely be back!!
always great! best bbq in the area by far

Great food and good environment
Cozy place, genuine service and amazing food. Their chicken sandwich and in house bbq sauces were delicious. I had a size of mac and cheese and bbq beans, loved it all!

Finally found a place with good barbecue. Moved up to Tennessee from Florida which has a lot of great barbecue restaurants and was surprised at how limited barbecue joints are in tennessee. Good ones that is.
Food here was great, service was awesome, people very friendly and it's a clean little restaurant. Definitely will be back.

Decent bbq, but way over priced. $20 for a 1/2 rack of 5 ribs is pretty ridiculous. $34 for full rack.

Great place if you are looking for something different. Food is always good. Wouldn't recommend the burnt pizza . It is strange to ask for a tip before you received your food or any service .Enough with the COVID gouge it is tacky.
