I have so much good to say about this place. Already one of the top restaurants in JC and I hope they continue to grow. The vibe and atmosphere is my favorite, but the food and service is also great. This is my place of choice to work on my business, meet folks, or have a date night.

Best BBQ I've ever had, burnt end sandwich was awesome and their Mac 'n' cheese was so close to what we make at home, real comfort food. Plus, the pitcher to refill your sweet tea was a nice touch

I went to Southern Craft on a Tuesday around lunchtime. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the combo where you pick two meats and two sides. I got burnt ends. Pork belly, fried green tomatoes, and fried okra. All the food was delicious, but that pork belly was through the roof awesome! The location is in an old renovated building in Johnson City and has a comfortable, relaxed feel. I have difficulty walking and seeing after a stroke and navigating the restaurant was a little difficult for me. My sister kept a hand on me to help. I am excited to go back and in fact, since I live in Kingsport, I'm anxious or the newly announced Kingsport location to open.

The best food you can buy. All the meats are delicious. The fried green tomatoes are the best we've had in this city. All of the sides are excellent. Order the Cornbread appetizer & you will be glad you did. It is amazing. Many different kinds of beer, some even brewed right there. It's a great place for the whole family

Came here on a Monday night and was seated right away. Placed had a decent amount of people for a Monday. Service was gold all throughout. True southern hospitality.
Came for the southern comforts and was not disappointed. Fried chicken was crispy and huge, the pork was moist, the greens seasoned great. Unfortunately I had to leave the toast on the plate. It was a lot of food!

You can't go wrong with a place that serves tater tots! Then on top of that they offer several different bbq sauces to dip them in. You, Southern Craft, are a winner in my book!

We've been dining at Southern Craft for years. Always making a two hour roundtrip for the experience. We had Zach as a server on our last visit and he was one of the best servers we've had at any restaurant ever. Prompt, accurate, pleasant and seemed like a genuinely nice person. The food is always great although we have noticed the burnt end nachos have shrunken in size over the past few years as have other selections. This is the only reason I give them four stars and not five. We'll continue making the long drive though as it's worth it.
Place is real good. Walked in on a Friday night, no reservation, was exactly what we were looking for. Fast and friendly service, really good food. Had the ribs with pepperjack grits and sweet potato soufflé on the side and fried green tomatoes as an app. All were great, loved the pork belly (not pictured) too. Great southern fare, highly recommend

I would not recommend this place at all the bbq sandwich looks like a kids meal it is so small and burned the meat is full of fat the sauces are like water just didn't enjoy it at all but if you puck threw the fat the meat itself is tasty

Fantastic food! We are hard to please when it comes to eating out and this place exceeded all of our expectations. The brisket and all the sides(we got a lot of them), was the best food we had our whole trip. Everything is made from scratch, even the pickles! Healthy portions and price is reasonable. Must go!

The food is amazing. I've been spoiled by eating Memphis BBQ a couple of times a month this last year and Southern Craft is the closest I've found. The meat is soft and flavorful and can stand on its own. Without sauce. However, you do have a choice in sauces. Mild to hot. My only real complaint is just the restaurant being crowded. I wish they would move somewhere that had more available space so that people aren't sitting on top of each other.
