I love this place! The quality of their products is amazing. Their baked goods, pimento cheese spreads and jellies are "over the top" good. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! It is so much fun to shop there!?

Not a very nice place. Flies buzzing around the fruit and just really run down. Guy working there was making pimento cheese when we walked in with no gloves on in the middle of the store/fruit stand. He barely acknowledged us. Fruit looked old and rotting. Not sure how this place stays open.

I stumbled upon the merlot pimento cheese at the Asheville Vintage Market and I wish I had bought 7 pounds. It is the greatest thing I have ever eaten.

I was looking forward to 1st visit. I've heard great word & news always carries on & on about it. Not cleanest place let's overlook that. The generous amount of filling drew me in... That's the Worst ? roll I ever ate much less bought. Probably should've been trashed. Hard & dry crust (not soft &or chewy) & something wrong w/ filling. There was no pecans or walnuts but that's fine. More like carrot cake glaze than sweet sour cream like filling. I got the sweats after eating a small slice. Then I started wondering about the housekeeping. 30mins later just grumbly stomach about all. Could just be hunger. I'll stop worrying about dying now. Fairly certain the insane amount of sugar that caused sweats. (diabetes beware!) It may have tasted great 1-2wks ago or at best bad recipe! 5$ per pound I expect way better! Sad thing is I'll probably not go back again. I would much rather give local than to big chain. There was a good selection of vegatables & plants. Tomatoes seemed on expensive side. Most were really ripe. 2-3$ lb depending. Some things should be marked down or thrown away. I will say idk what everyone raves about. Perhaps just fat people who are that way b/c they will eat any & everything..? If wrong I'll admit but that roll will haunt me! Seems to be a hoarding problem on premesis from farm to food... Something in air or just string of bad luck???
