☆☆0 - 2☆☆ This was my 2nd Porterhouse at Texas Roadhouse and it wasn't any better than my first (which I had in St. Petersburg last month). We’re regular diners at Texas Roadhouse and typically enjoy our visits. However, yesterday’s 7/21/25 experience was disappointing. We waited a long time after being seated and had to request service. The steaks were overcooked and dry, and my sweet potato was undercooked. I understand staffing can impact service, but this visit fell short of expectations. Regrettably, we likely won’t return for a while.
Texas RH never disappoints on quality, presentation, freshness, quantity and value. This quality is equal at all Texas restaurants no matter which state that I have experienced and Johnson City is equal to the task. Only issue is the popularity can cause long wait times. My favorite chain restaurant, no precooked frozen portions microwaved to order at a premium price here.
