Most plates I tried here are great, but the chicken plate Kanat Izgara is truly amazing!

Had the spicy chicken Adana. Never had it before and the flavor was popping! I happen to sit near where the owner was sitting and she was so kind. She told me the history about how she got started 15 years ago with Red Meze. She brought me different hot sauces and some jalapeño hummus for dipping. She and her staff were super friendly and attentive. I originally walked in to place a to-go order but this place has such a warm vibe I decided to stay and I’m glad I did. I highly recommend it!

The food was good but when I ordered the baklava the price on the menu was not the price they charged me. I asked and they said it was what they charged for it. Just put it on the menu at that price or inform the customer so they can decide if they want to pay that much.

Our family just moved to the Johnson City area. A lot of people online recommended to try Red Meze and they were right. Decided to try it for lunch and had no issues getting a table. Delicious food, prompt service and good portion size. Even our picky 4 year old happily ate some of my gyro with no complaints. Will be back again

Food was very good. It took a really long time to come out though, and the weren't busy at all. They also charged $1.00 for each little tiny container of sauce they bring you and don't tell you about the extra charge ahead of time. Even the ones that it says comes with the meal.
Great dinner, server was amazing, and food was out of this world, wife said if she was on death row it would be her last meal request!

The best grilled chicken gyros and Greek salads you will find! I order from here at least two times a week. They are always so friendly when I pull up to get online order, and they bring it out with a smile. The grilled chicken is the absolute best chicken I've ever gotten from any restaurant! I could eat it every single day :) I definitely recommend trying this place.
