We came to this Waffle House and were completely disappointed and frustrated by the service. From the moment we walked in, we were not greeted at all. We sat at a table and waited over five minutes before we finally had to speak up just to get someone’s attention.
While we were sitting there waiting, we watched the waitress who was supposed to be helping us seat customers who came in after us, take their orders, and bring them drinks — while we were still sitting there ignored.
I absolutely hate to even say this, but at that point I couldn’t help but wonder what else could it be besides race? The treatment was too obvious to ignore.
I’m writing this review right now from the parking lot, and I just watched another party get seated at the table we left — and the waitress immediately went straight to them. No delay. No hesitation.
Is this really what Waffle House stands for? Because this experience was unacceptable, embarrassing, and extremely upsetting. We left feeling disrespected and overlooked, and no customer should ever be made to feel this way.

Ok so we went in there when they had the fireworks. An well.. the ladies that were in there working were not friendly at all. The one who was cooking was giving us dirty looks the whole time. They were whispering and looking our way. Also all the tables were dirty and only one other person was in there when we got there. The food we received was a little on the burnt side. The biscuits tasted like they sat there for hours. It was a whole mess

It would be nice to go in there and have a peaceful cup of coffee without the music blaring.
Staying the weekend in JC, and was out late and decided to get a quick bite around midnight before heading to the hotel. I’m glad I stopped in, not too busy, but a group of about 6 who all seemed to be friends sitting together having a good time. The atmosphere was great, the vibes were on point, very relaxing and safe feeling. Service was great. Drink out in no time, followed by the food. Food was as good as expected for a Waffle House at midnight, my pecan waffle came out good and hot, my eggs were good, hash browns good, bacon good, everything on point. Waitress was very nice and continued to check on me. 5 stars would most definitely come again!
