Mehh. Spicy chicken taste the same as the chicken at the mall under a light sitting for half an hour. I don’t mind to pay more for quality but this was average at best. Nice atmosphere. I would prefer panda over this.

We called ahead so we would not have to wait to long. When we got there they told us the wait would be about 15 minutes. Please coming in and they were filling tables left and right. Keep saying , oh sorry, you will have the next table. 45 minutes later, we were getting up to leave and the manager said he had a table.

Review of Yuimaru Kitchen – Disappointing Service Despite Good Food

Our party of five dined at Yuimaru Kitchen to celebrate our son’s 25th birthday — and unfortunately, what should have been a special occasion was ruined by poor service. I chose not to make a scene on his special day, but the experience deserves to be shared.

The manager was nowhere to be seen, and it took 15 minutes before our waitress even came by to take our drink order. We were never given utensils, so we had to walk around the restaurant ourselves to find napkins, forks, and chopsticks. The waitress — along with other wait staff — seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving the customers.

We ordered appetizers and specifically requested that our main courses not arrive immediately. That request was ignored, and everything came out at once.

To my shock, the bill included an 18% gratuity for our party of five — a cheap shot considering one “guest” was a two-year-old who only had milk from her sippy cup. It was a smart move on the waitress’s part, as I was not planning on leaving that much of a tip. Normally, we are generous tippers and happily reward great service with a sizable tip. But on rare occasions like this — when a waitress shows no interest in making our dining experience pleasurable — the service does not warrant it.

While the food itself was delicious, excellent food cannot make up for inattentive and disorganized service. I even called and left a message for the manager to discuss the experience, but I have yet to receive the courtesy of a return call.

We’ve been loyal customers, visiting twice a week and spending anywhere from $80 to $160 each time on sushi and other menu items. But after this visit — and another poor experience recently — we will not be returning.

Bottom line: Yuimaru Kitchen seems to put most of its effort into the Hibachi side of the business. If you’re looking for Hibachi, you may have a good time here. But for a normal dining experience, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location. The staff is phenomenal. The aesthetic of the restaurant is so beautiful their sushi is probably the best sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. The dynamite roll is out of this world. The shrimp sauce is homemade and better than any shrimp sauce I’ve ever had. I have never had anything there that I didn’t absolutely love their cocktails are fantastic. I love every single person that works there and I have such a outstanding experience every time, that I go once or twice a week. I can’t even possibly imagine why they would have anything less than five stars perfection! I love you guys so much. EDIT: my waiter’s name is Rico, and he MAKES EVERY MEAL SO SPECIAL!!!!

This is a great place to eat.The food is great little on the pricey side but you pay for what you get. My biggest problem at lunch time. When you're on your lunch break to sit down for hibachi and they sit 4 other guest with you 10 minutes later which is fine. Honestly no big deal. But then 14 minutes later seet other couple and you have to wait for them to be served before you know it your lunch break is over and you've just spent $40. On meal that you don't get to eat at that time because you must head back to work. I understand at dinner time this is adequate but during lunch hours split up the tables.

It finally happened, after decades of eating sushi I finally got food poisoning. Maybe it was just luck of the draw and was bound to happen eventually, but I will not be going back to this location. I think it was the yellowtail, it looked, smelled, and tasted off. Everything else was good though, I enjoyed the rest of my rolls. The waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there but it didn’t ruin my dining experience.

Incredibly loud inside. They do have outdoor seating, which is where I ate. The service was very slow, too. The server was very friendly.
