We love crackers barrel but boy are the lacking right now we understand food pricing we understand not being fully staffed due to worker shortages but the quality has slipped so far half our table received food last night while half had to wait 15 more minutes this included children, I for one am not eating with out the kids eating. The chicken tenders were not fresh and were wellllllll done and the fries were cold. My husband had a steak that felt like it had just been removed from the fridge. Not a good experience last night

On December the fourth, 2024, I took my family
To crack a barrel at Kimball Crossing, we were there to celebrate my wife 60th birthday.
We arrived at 5 o'clock PM. First, there was a party of 40 being served in the restaurant.
I understood that we were a party of 9 and were seated within 5 minutes. Within 15 minutes, we were placing our order. However,
There were several other dining guests that came in about 5:30.
To be exact, there were about three different dining guests that came in later, then we did. However, by 6:45 , they had already received their food, eaten it, and had exited the building
During this time, I had asked to see the manager as our food had not arrived. We were continuously told that they were working on our food, and it would be just a few minutes more. We had 3 children who were very hungry and extremely restless. By 10 after 7, we had gotten up and put our coats on to leave. When our food was finally brought out to the table.
We set down to eat our food.
I requested to speak with a manager.
The manager that came out his name was Eric.
This manager, poor people, skills, and even worse, managerial skills.
When I explained the problem to him and how we had been treated, he was very haphazard and non shalont about the situation.
I do not make it a habit of complaining, but this was extremely rude. And inexcusable after seeing his unprofessional demeanor I immediately requested the 1800 number to file a customer complaint against against this manager and the employees after waiting over 2 hours for our food, he would only offer 35% for a resolution. To correct this injustice and poor customer service
I fail to explain that the other parties that were seated after we were
and manage to eat their meal.
And pay for their food before we ever received our food that these parties, we're all white. We were the only family of color that was present. It was a server that was able to get the number
For corporate, they slipped it to us privately, requesting to remain anonymous so as not to receive retribution from Eric or the other managers.
This service was atrocious, inexcusable, and unacceptable. I did manage to speak to a district manager. The very next day, however, at the time of this post, the matter is still unresolved. I am so angry about this. I am still seeing red.

Did not eat purchased something’s in the retail area. Mistake was made on my purchase and they were very apologetic and thanked me several times for the error. I didn’t find mistake until I got home so had to return to store but they tried to find me and fix it. Gentleman was very kind

Waited 10 minutes for server to make the 1st visit to the table. Watched as what seemed like 10 other servers and team members all walked by me. Finally saw the server and placed my order. A different server brought my food out 10 minutes after that - but still no drinks (tea and water). Food was ok. Watched my server visit every other table in the area except mine. Had to ask 3 different people to get my ticket so I could pay and leave. Customer Service from the entire team needs some focus.

Service was terrible from the moment we walked in the door the two hostesses kept bickering over who was seating people and who weren't we finally get seated and we order our food we ordered alcoholic beverages but we ended up not being able to get them cause my license expired (I wasn't paying attention to the date my fault) we canceled the drink order told them it was okay but then the waitress made a comment telling me i need to go get my license renewed before a certain time or id have to retake the test the comments weren't really needed ....we just continue with getting our meal order 6 or so minutes go by and the waitress comes back asking if we still want our food so we just canceled our order and left because we clearly weren't welcome there. The whole entire vibe was uncomfortable and everyone is acting pissy cause they are working on thanksgiving. I just wanted to have a nice meal with my family.

Our 4 star server, Harley, was definitely the gold standard. She made our dining experience. Will go back because of her. The food was the expected CB level. Plain hash browns are now an upcharged item :(
