“My husband and I have been all over the United States traveling for his job. Last week we found ourselves traveling through the area headed towards Knoxville and jumped at the chance to finally eat at this restaurant. Top of The Rock is a very fitting name for sure lol The location did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and in no time (though obviously busy) our server brought water and introduced herself with an attitude and presents that was not only attentive but welcoming. She spoke to us like we had just sat down in her home for a meal with old friends. By the time we ordered our drinks and appetizer we had connected to her kindness in a way that made me feel like I never wanted to leave. ( that says a lot and means a lot to us specifically...its like she knew exactly what type of encounter we were hoping and NEEDING to have when it came to service) The food was great and the drinks were top notch. I would point anybody looking for an exceptional eating establishment to Top of The Rock. But what made our whole experience so memorable was the friendly and personable service. Mandy was warm and inviting with a southern drawl you think only exists in the movies lol Other servers we watched buzzing around were friendly as well but we grew quite partial to Mandys hospitality. She had told us she was fairly new to the job and we couldn't believe it! Get the Fish tacos! They are phenominal! and ask for Mandy if you wanna feel appreciated and comfortable. will recommend this place to everyone we know and for sure will be back!”

“The restaurant was very clean and we were greeted very friendly by the staff as soon as we walked in the restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive she made sure our order was taken in a timely manner even with her being very busy.Our food came out of the kitchen within 8 minutes after placing our order and everything was cooked up just right!”

“We had a party of seven and one child and were pleasantly surprised with the lunch menu. Everything was exceptionally well prepared and served by a very professional server. She did an exceptional job as our waitress. Will be going back again”

“My wife and I ate there today August 4th and even thought they were short handed we were very happy with the service, and there was just one lady, don’t know her and didn’t think to get her name but she was working the front by herself, taking orders, filling drinks due to the machine not working, working the window and taking orders to the outside customers. She was a hard worker, but what caught our attention was that she was nice enough that she kept apologizing to everyone for having to wait. long John Silvers whoever that kady was that was there around 2:00 pm, she deserves a nice Bonus.”

“On the right as you enter Food City is a small Starbucks, with staff doing the best they can to make those sugarlishous caffeinated drinks. They do a decent job, I mean, I’ve not got a bad drink from the location and everyone is very friendly. So yes. If you are shopping and craving some good drink, this is a great choice.”

“I am so happy this location has a drive through! With the order screen being touch screen it is so convenient, especially with kids. Usually quick service and friendly employees! Never had an issue with our order either.”

“We've really only bought donuts here. We call it Donut Day at home because we motivate the kids to get out of bed on Mondays to hopefully start the week of on a good note. We haven't had too many issues ordering. I think the only time we've had a problem was when ordering through the app but each time the problem gets solved. Staff is mostly friendly! We will continue to order here. I just wish they'd always give napkins without asking but that's ok!”

“This is the Burger Man with Best Burgers in America Association, and I was invited to score a burger for their restaurant, and it was an awesome visit. Their One Pound Double Cheeseburger was grilled and seasoned to perfection, the toppings were fresh, and the bun was strong enough to hold that big burger. The owners were awesome, down-to-earth people, and their Waitresses and customer service were on point. If you have never been here to eat, you got to go and you will love the food and the service, I promise you that. Get a burger and tell them that the Burger Man sent you.”

“Amazing food. Were camping nearby and saw this place on google maps and had to give it a try. Never had an Egg Curry before, so of course we had to try it. It was amazing.

Stopped by on our way out, got a paneer tikka pizza to go and loved every bite.

“We were looking for a local place to dine as we were passing through from out of state. Loved it as soon as we drove up. Cool little dive atmosphere. I ordered the pulled pork with beans and potato salad and the hubby ordered the ribs with fried okra and onion rings. Food was delicious and the service was great. We would definitely be regulars if we lived close by.

On a side note, the bathrooms needed attention and I would have loved some sort of bread with my plate, but the good FAR outweighed the bad! 🥰”
