My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our lunch today. She had the pulled chicken platter with slaw. I had pulled pork with their awesome loaded potato salad. Both of us had the excellent baked beans too! The atmosphere is very friendly and quaint. The ladies were extremely nice and helpful. If you love barbecue for the food not the frills, this is the place in Kingsport to go. Highly recommend.

Terrific owners, great food, and friendly service.
Where to even begin…? 1. The food is nothing short of AMAZING. 2. These guys and gals have worked tirelessly all week (and aren’t done yet) to provide meals to flood victims and relief volunteers in Roan Mountain. I personally asked them to prepare 60 to go orders to send to a hard to reach church without meals and they had it ready to go within 45 minutes. I highly recommend them and can’t wait for my next Bare Bones meal!

The BEST POTATO SALAD I'VE EVER HAD!! All of it was amazing! Had the brisket sandwich, hubby had the pulled pork sandwich. Well worth the extra 7 minutes off the highway to get great local BBQ. Should we pass through this area again, we will definitely be stopping for more!!
This place has such a southern kitchen atmosphere, and the food was extraordinary. Loaded baked potato salad was the best I've ever had, the pork was also really good, and the Spicy Yellow Jacket sauce is the best mustard based sauce I've ever tasted. I'll be a regular here now.

We came to Bristol for the Bowtie Nationals. We came across this restaurant and read some reviews. As usual,pros and cons. But that's reviews,and different people. I can honestly say nothing but excellent quality here. Food was great. Service was great, small family atmosphere setting. Had pulled pork sandwiches,Mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and banana pudding. Food servings where very plentiful. Good Christian family. And it shows. Excellent ??

First time visiting. We got two pulled pork platters to go. Got home and had no bbq sauce for either platter. Got two sides of Mac and Cheese. The Mac and Cheese tasted terrible. Definitely like it was from a box. The noodles were so over done and soft it was inedible. Coleslaw had no flavor. The meat was average. Definitely use your money elsewhere.

They food was great! The staff was awesome! Very friendly and fun... The prices are reasonable.. I had their rib special with two sides (mac and cheese and baked potato). Everyone else had the pulled pork sandwich and potatoe salad. Good Home cooking..
