I tried to order from this Burger King about on 6/26/25 during their day shift. I pull up and see a near empty lot, so it was not busy. PERIOD!
I pull into the drive thru line, I see a woman in a blue van sitting at order taker, she is confused because there is no one trying to take her order. She rolls up her window because of heat & waits for them. At the corner of the building I see the back of a vehicle just sitting & sitting & sitting.
After about 10 minutes I left. Can't believe that woman in the van was just sitting there still waiting. HAHAHA! I drive around the building, see an employee 1st window in a state of confusion about dealing with person at their window, I see no manager helping them. Then at 2nd window I see someone looking back at the first window as if wondering what the issue is.
Guess what, over the past two years, every time I try to order food at this Burger King during the day when they are not busy, I either have to leave a non moving line of one or two cars, or I pull up to the order taker & are ignored or I am asked to wait & then they never return.
And when that happens, I drive to the Fort Henry McDs, see more business but I am able to get in drive thru, get my order & leave very quickly. McDs are not perfect either. But at least they can bat a .700 as opposed to .000 for Kingsport area Burger Kings.
The difference: Their management are held responsible by someone who works. So they are expected to work!!!!
Conclusion: The Burger King district management & store management in this area are completely undedicated to customer service! PERIOD! NO EXCUSES!
Because their employees are poorly trained by management, they don't care, their store managers are not managing situations. Whomever owns these locations are being ripped off by those they pay to manage. Because those people ARE NOT working hard for them. And the evidence of that is seen everyday, all day by people who go to these area Burger Kings.
Maybe the owner(s) don't even care. Maybe they are McLovin it when people take their money to McDs instead. Maybe from the very top it's just lazy people who are satisfied to just get a paycheck.
Someone should start filming these moments & post them online for all to see. All of the management should feel ashamed that thousands of people witness their public display of incompetence!
The Burger King Clinchfield location ALSO routinely asks to wait when there are no customer cars in their lot, no cars ahead. But they do eventually get out of bed and start the order.
And if the Burger King management reads this: Don't bother with some lame apology & promise to do better! THIS IS NOT A ONE TIME PROBLEM! IT WASN'T JUST A BAD DAY! YOU CAN'T DO BETTER! THE CURRENT STATE IS YOUR BEST! I have no respect for management who are paid but don't work EXTRA HARD for their money! The current Burger King management should just retire and go knit or play golf already! Or they should claim disability because they cannot function doing work. Then perhaps, someone who will actually get things done will have their job!

Terrible, worst burger king i’ve ever been to. came here on my lunch break and had to wait my entire break for my food. with no warning what i wanted would take longer l. extremely disappointed. DO NOT Reccomend STOPPING HERE
Thanks Burger King for messing up my order I got served terrible service for breakfast. I asked for two gravy biscuits trying to mentioned after I got to go thru the window to pick up my food when i finally got my food I noticed I was short a gravy biscuit the lady had to ring up another gravy biscuit also when i got home I noticed the gravy biscuits were not a large.

Went through the drive through and was charged twice for my order and when I called them to try to get reimbursed for one of them. They told me that they would call me back after me calling them about it 3 times and they stopped answering the phone. 🤬

So my husband and I decided to stop and grab a burger from this location. As we are sitting at the table eating I saw something fall from the vent right above the table near us. I told I husband who then got up to inspect. Yall it was a 3 inch long healthy as could be COCKROACH! Never eating from here again!
Imagine being so arrogant to think you can tell your dine-in customers they have 30 minutes to eat and get out.
It seems this Burger King's managers think way too highly of themselves..

All I can say about this is I work at Burger King so I know it great.
Parking: Parking lots always clean of trash

Big, fat blond hair on my burger. Disgusting ? Besides that fun fact, the location has sketchy "customers" inside, making staff act testy. Sad.
I just went to Burger King I went and got me a jr chicken sandwich without seeds because I'm allergic to seeds I had to go in there twice they put seeds on the sandwich twice

Been sitting in line forever. Took almost 5 minutes for them to vome to the microphone to take the car in front of me order and now that I've paid, its been 10 more minutes in line to get my food and the line hasnt moved. I'll never go to this one again.

My companion and I decided to visit the Burger King on N Eastman Rd because our usual BK had given us cold food in our last two drive thru visits. Tired and hungry, we ordered our favorites to eat in the car, then proceed to our destination after a full day of festivities. We choked it down and carried on. Disappointed.This evening, same scenario at the BK on N Eastman Rd. From experience, the bag didn't feel warm. Likely, the order wasn't either. We tried to enjoy our meal but after the first bite, couldn't. The room temp cheese was not soft and melted. The meat was cold. The cheese tots were tough. All, could have been waiting on the counter for a customer to place the order for quite a while. Disappointed, yes. Aggravated, yes. Sad, yes.A big thanks goes to the gentleman that came to the drive thru window. I couldn't see a name tag. I presume he was the manager. He listened, asked for our receipt, smiled, apologized, and asked us to wait while he took care of our (re)order.In a minute, another smiling, apologizing face asked us to park while waiting for the (re)order.In due time the final smiling, apologizing face brought our freshly assembled (re)order to our car. Examples of true customer service. We were late getting to our destination, but my companion and I finally got to enjoy our BK meals.The employees I dealt with have the ethics of customer service down pat. Others, may need a standard of quality refresher.Thank you, BK team for turning a less -than-satisfied visit around.

The manager needs a personality but other than that it was decent I guess. When I say thank you and have a nice day I expect a cordial response..not a sarcastic eye roll!!
