I have been a frequent customer of Chili's for years. However, as with many restaurants, I have noticed a steady decline in the portion sizes, ingredients, and other items that used to be included. In addition, prices are steadily increasing every day, but more and more is being taken away.
Now, there is no curbside pickup option, you have to go inside to get your order or at least at the Kingsport location that is how it is. I would have no issue with walking inside, but the online ordering system automatically defaults to an 18% tip or higher options. There is a custom tip entry option, but if someone is not paying attention, then they are tipping for little to no service.
My question...tipping for what? The cooks are paid hourly (way above minimum in this state) to prepare and package the food, which is their normal job. The to-go person simply places the item(s) in a bag and hands it to you, which is their job. I ordered online. I drove to the store, and I walked in. I will be doing the cleanup at home. I am doing just as much as they are. The cooks and cashiers at the Burger King or McDonald's don't get tipped for doing their jobs, so, why on earth would I tip 18% or more of the total bill for no extra service? Why would I tip at all? Chili's PAY YOUR PEOPLE and stop expecting your customers to do it.

Awesome quality food great chips and salsa. Very pleasant staff very inviting pleasant atmosphere have not been a Chili’s customer for a long time, but I’ve been coming back because I have a vegan daughter that’s living with us now and she gets the black bean burger, but their burgers are delicious And their chips and salsa are some of the best ever.

I don’t even know what to say here. Me and all my friends got food poisoning from this location about a month ago and got immediately dismissed by the manager by her saying “no one was sick that worked there”. When it was obviously food poisoning from bad food. We were sent $45 in “apology gift cards” even though we spent well over $100 just to go home and all be sick not even a few hours after we ate there. Today me and my friend decided to try again and used our gift cards, he got the Cajun pasta and there were BUGS crawling around on his plate. Not just one, multiple. This location had proven time and time again they will not follow food safety laws and regulations. Will NOT be returning. EVER!

Got the Ribeye & Shrimp with garlic butter, fries, & garlic mushrooms. Sounds good right? The ribeye was the worst I've had. Must've been sliced from a 100 year old cow.... Grey, slimy and just gross. The shrimp was the little tiny ones, not the big tasty ones. The mushrooms were literally just canned mushrooms, too salty to eat. Only decent thing was the fries but overall it was a scam for $30. Could have gone to Longhorn and gotten a very good steak for that price. Won't be going back.

Food has always been great but on 6/27/25 husband and I stopped to eat we live in va we stood at check in at least 5mins before a server came.it wasnt packed or crowded with people. When server came she ask if we mind sitting at table in bar area we said no. The servers name was Kenley. As we proceeded to table I changed my mind and said we would rather have a booth well kenley blurted out I( i ask if you wanted a table rudely) I dont know if she was having a bad day or what she took our order and that was it she never came back around the whole time we where there. But on a good note your burgers are the best.

Ordered3dinners of 1/2 racks ribs so dried out couldn't eat them mac&cheese was 2table spoons of watercress and loaded mash potato's tasted like it was made with dish water. I will never from there again
This place is absolutely disgusting. you would be shocked if you knew what happened in the kitchen and manager's office at this location. 0/10 do not recommend

Ribs were overcooked. The corn was so overcooked that you couldn't even bite it off the cob. Our waitress was sweet, but not the greatest. Our drinks went dry on multiple occasions. We had to ask her for the check multiple times, and food was left off the order. We've been here multiple times and its been better, this time just wasn't the best expirence.

Don’t come here to drink and have fun. They will cut you off after having the 2 for 1 drinks. Service was great, except for the terrible server for cutting me off after two drinks. I had a steak and shrimp and two drinks and was cut off
