Worst service ever you ask to speak to a manager they tell you he is to busy the staff is extremely rude

Wondering if this restaurant is closed? The phone number says disconnected when I try to call

I thought this place was still open due to Google but they not longer are in service I was told they moved to another state.

had lunch with my wife on 1/21/21,came all the way from Brooklyn, well worth the trip. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dominic & his son, they couldn't have been any nicer, great people great food, tho it's a byob restaurant was not an issue, there's a liquor store 3 doors down, Dominic is blessed and so are we, good job Dominic We'll be back Paul & Toniann

we went here for dinner last night. We have been here before but many many years ago. The food was delicious and the service was very good. We ordered the ropa vieja and steak for dinner which were amazing. We will be back.

Great food. Friendly atmosphere. 100% authentic Cuban Food Will recommend to anyone! If you are in the area & looking for tropical food, this is the place to go . Yes its located inside a gas station but don't let that steer you away. The food is honestly delicious!!!

I was a customer there in early September and I had a misunderstanding with the owner about something on the menu. He trash talks me in spanish to a customer next to me (thinking I didn't understand Spanish) and then CURSES at me in front of his overcrowded restaurant. I was there with my family (party of 10) and we should of walked out without paying. No social distancing guidelines at all there. Very NASTY owner! NEVER going back!

An absolute diamond in the rough. Saw an advertisement for this place on Facebook and we decided to try it out. We fell in love with Cuban food on a trip to Ft Lauderdale last year and haven’t found anything like it til today. We tried almost all the apps. Empanadas, Croquettes, Yucca, Tostones and Plantano Frito. We weren’t big on the Yucca, that’s not to say it was bad just not our thing, but the rest was absolutely out of this world.The owner, Pedro was also super personable and passionate about his food and quality. 10/10 will be back again and can’t wait to try more stuff.

Great food and friendly cook, if you lived in Miami ,FL it’ll bring you back to the old days , you won’t regret trying out Cuban Pete’s Cuban food. ????

Love the food! We found this spot visiting Kingsport one day, and wow. My husband is Cuban and he was so satisfied and it made him feel at home! Super nice owner. FRESH, hot, TASTY food. We will be back! Try the steak sandwich, YUM

We just had dinner at Cuban Pete’s. Covid has kept us away but we are back and this place doesn’t disappoint. Staff takes care of you, Food is outrageous and the place is run well within safety guidelines. The owner is very considerate and takes great care to remember you and take care of you. If you are looking for great cuban food and a great experience, This is the place

I usually never write reviews but I just had to write this. I would give this place 0 stars if I could- from service to how they are handling the pandemic to how RACIST they are. I went on Saturday around 4 p.m. before it got busy- it took 45 minutes for us to get our appetizers- which we only got bc we complained it took so long. Our waiter took our menus before we even ordered our food. Then we see servers with no masks on (indoors) and servers wearing their mask below their nose. We then told a server to adjust his mask and he rolled his eyes. A table was seated less than 3 feet apart from us. Then another table directly behind us- the woman was sitting less than 2 feet away from me. We then literally picked up our table and moved it. There was a table with 14+ people there. Then we asked to speak to a manager- and the waiter we asked gave us so much attitude then told everyone that we wanted to speak with the manager. The waiter then walked passed and mumbled he's coming. When the manager came we had our masks on to speak with him- but he took his off to speak to us (which why would you even do) then when we voiced our concern he said "he doesn't follow the rules the government tells him, and he has gotten fined a few times and doesn't care" We then told him how we wish we knew that because we wouldn't have given him our business. My mother works in the medical field and sees how serious this pandemic is (although it is getting better- but only due to these precautions) he was extremely rude and condescending "oh these tables aren't 6 feet apart are you sure?" "I think they are, no?" Where I could almost physically touch the table next and behind me. He then said "only white Americans complain" This raised eyebrows- as my mom and I are not white- but our family friend sitting with us is. We then told him how we're not "white" and he then changed his tune asking where we are from and sounding so surprised that we spoke in Spanish to him. His whole demeanor then changed - he then became a different person and the attitude changed- a completely different person, and told us "Mi casa es su casa." Like what?! We got our check and left so fast! When we got home we checked into this place more, turns out they have a lot of racist complaints and have gotten shut down from the cops a lot! NEVER going ever again! P.s also the food tasted extremely bland!!

Completely ignoring COVID restrictions. Massively packed, super-spreader environment. Refused to provide advertised curbside pickup, I could not go in to the crowded environment with nobody wearing masks. Nobody would pick up phone for over a half hour while double-parked more than 45 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. What a nightmare. They have lost a customer, will never return.
