The food is excellent! We have gone there several times and they never disappoint.The food is consistently good. Staff is friendly and the prices are very fair. It is my new go to Mexican restaurant.

New owners. New restaurant. It's absolute trash. If you love La Carreta, come here. You'll love it. If you love "authentic" Mexican food, you'll hate this place. The portions are greatly reduced. The flavor is absent. This is such a sad day for Kingsport. This was the highest rated restaurant on Trip Advisor. I miss El Loco Taco..

My husband and I have been coming here since forever. We heard about the change in operations and wanted to see what has changed. NO FLAVOR, ON ANYTHING. EVEN THE HOT SAUCE WASNT HOT. sadly we won't be back, and this was one of out favorite Mexican restaurants.

Excellent food and service! Definitely the most authentic we’ve had in eaten TN. We had beef and chicken tacos and the meats were quality and tender. The rice was perfectly authentic.

I would have given a 3.5 rating. Food was good. Atmosphere not so much. Just needs a good spiffing up with cleaning and maybe fresh paint. I don’t expect luxury but the food deserves better surroundings. Could be a 4+. Employees were great. Friendly and attentive.

I'm from Southern California and have been missing good Mexican food. This place hit the spot for me. Authentic taco's, had carne asada and pollo. All of their salsas were fantastic. Will be coming back to try more items from their menu.

I started coming to El Loco over a year ago, and I've gone almost twice a week since, but they just got new owners and the food, atmosphere and service has gone from exceptional to dog water. It's really sad what's happened used to be my favorite place.

New owners. Really disappointed. Was my favorite Mexican restaurant, they had the best fajitas, the old owners always gave you plenty, a hefty salad, as we get no beans, no rice. And delicious mixed fajitas. The portions are almost half of what they used to be. Very disappointed. However I gave 3 stars bc they did get the order correct, the food was hot and fresh and had good flavor. And they accepted gift card from December. May have still been the previous owner. Will probably not come back. Not what I had hoped for.
