Pleasantly surprised by this strip mall seafood restaurant. The lunch portions were plentiful and we could have shared one. Delicious food cooked just right. Other things we saw looked amazing too.
I have eaten here several times, and it's always been delicious 😋
Got the fisherman’s platter. It was good and a huge portion.
What a great experience ! A friend, and I had supper here and the fried perch, broccoli, and coleslaw was fabulous. My friend, who has traveled the world and is a connoisseur of seafood, remarked more than once about the excellence of our food. Our waitress, Kim, was as fine as the food ! It's not everyday that food and service both achieve such high marks. Bravo, Fisherman's Dock of Kingsport, Tennessee !

Great option for seafood in Kingsport area. Food is always good and servers are attentive but not intrusive.
The food was out of this world ! I had the very finest fried perch I have ever had in my entire life. The same could be said about the oysters. The portions were very generous and the prices reasonable. The waitress, Kara, was a very courteous, thoughtful person, and gives The Fisherman's Dock the absolutely sterling reputation it has earned, and continues to earn each and every day. Bravo !!!

We use to go here alot but then covid came so after that was over we went at least once every month for awhile. We hadn't been in awhile so we went there May3rd 2025. Waitress was great. It was chilly inside. We ordered our food. When we got food my Alaskan white fish and baby shrimp and hush puppies was all thrown on top of my fries. My fries was very old and dried out and tasteless and cold. My whitefish was over fried, hard and medium warm. My baby shrimp was cold and greasy. Hush puppies greasy. I took a few bites and it made me nauseated. I then knew it was very bad food on my fiancé's plate when I seen he was picking at his food. This was his favorite place to eat. He was not happy. He had the Fishermans plate. He pulled out blackened burnt fries. He had burnt pieces of clam and his deviled crab was pure salty. He tried eating it because he knew after we showed waitress when she came to ask if we needed take out boxes that his food was horrible and mine too. She looked at my plate and said you barely ate anything. I told her fries was old and no taste and dried out. She then agreed she knew our fries was bad but didn't know the fish would be that bad like that. We showed her the burnt fish. She said tell them up front and they will give you a discount. We did tell girl up front and she said I'm sorry and that's 45 dollars and some change. We paid but I told her we wouldn't ever be back. We was still hungry but too nauseated to eat when we got back.
Server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere needs attention. It's old and tired looking.
This was our first and last trip there. My husband got his food broiled, I ordered fried because we wanted to see how each cooking method compares. Both were horrible. The broiled was tasteless and dry, fried was all breading, tasteless, tough. Sides rank a Zero.
We would rate this place zero if it was an option.
I’ve been feasting from The Fisherman’s Dock menu ever since it opened in Kingsport ..gosh, well over (what?) 25-30 years ago? They started out on Stone Drive and kept me and my family coming back for more great seafood and sides for years at that location. When they moved to a new location in front of Kroger we still kept enjoying the wonderful food. We stalked them down again when they downsized to their present location on Fort Henry Drive and, folks, after all these years we still love their food and will keep coming back as long as their doors are open. We’ve never had a bad experience with Fisherman’s Dock restaurant and never a complaint with their staff. No one paid me to write this review. It is as real as it gets. There are only a handful of restaurants left that know how to produce a quality menu and charge a fair price for what you’re getting. It doesn’t get any better than Fisherman’s Dock. My family and I thank you and appreciate you for all these years of great seafood meals! Here’s to many more!

Ordered clam chowder and fish sandwich was horrible. I would not recommend this to anyone. I was told by locals it was good. IT WAS NOT. Do not go here ever.
