I haven't been to a Golden Corral in a very long time and it has changed a lot and it's for the better.

We’ve been coming to Golden Corral for years…….and only because our kids enjoy it, mostly because they have ice cream. There’s the first problem. The ice cream is out of order VERY frequently. Also, what they started serving within the last year can no longer be called ice cream. They changed whatever their mix is and now it’s basically frozen vanilla flavored water. It’s gross. It doesn’t look or taste like ice cream….and when it’s the primary reason we come that’s upsetting. It’s like the last nail in the coffin. It immediately turns to water, forget about adding hot fudge. Just plain gross and kind of insulting to continue to charge the same price while quality has gone wayyyyyyyy down. The food is barely mediocre anymore, it’s seriously gone down hill. Often times things are cold or have clearly been sitting far too long….I’ve seen regular items out that look like they’ve probably been reheated for several days to the point they aren’t even the correct color anymore. I was there one time where the offerings looked like something you’d see at a homeless shelter. Think multiple kinds of beans and wet noodles you have to dump sauce on. I don’t know what’s going on with the desert section but the women who work that section are just plain nasty to customers for absolutely no reason. The banana pudding has recently taken a nose dive too. The last time we went it was like soup. It shouldn’t have been out for customers. You have to go to 3 separate places for silverware. You get a fork when you pay but knives and spoons are in separate locations. The rest rooms are absolutely disgusting and smell terribly of sewer gas. They have NEVER not smelled like sewer gas. Why over a period of many years has this not been fixed? The air conditioning doesn’t work. You think they’d let you know before you pay….hey maybe slap a sign on the door. The only way to get excellent service is getting a table in Rob’s section. Rob is awesome and takes great care of anyone in his section. I feel taken for every time we’ve eaten here in the last couple of years but it’s gotten even worse. It used to be well even if the food was awful today hopefully the ice cream is working and that will save the meal. But not anymore. Told the kids we aren’t going to continue to give business to a place that clearly has little regard for their customers.

Food was mostly good. Some wasn't that great. The service took a while, but overall, when I received it that it was good.

One of the few places you can go, and actually be full when you get up from the table. And the food's already ready when you get there.

I absolutely love Golden Corral so when I went out of town I knew I had to find one. I have been to 1 other location and it was just as amazing. We went for dinner and I was absolutely stuffed when I left. My favorite is the steamed brussel sprouts. Very good food. A solid 10 every time.

I love the waiters/waitresses we get here. They're always worthy of a great tip keeping the table clean and the glasses full. Buffet is the best when ya don't know what ya want and have an option for a little bit of everything.

The service here was wonderful, everything quite tidy, and the food was good and filling -short of a there being no whole crunchy taco shells-

By far the worst golden corral I have ever been to steak and shrimp where been here an hour and ain't seen none yet it's advertised selection sucks taste is just bland dried out and just pick server asked if I wanted a drink 12 minutes later after he sweeps and busses 3 tables I finally got it I could have choked by then why did you bother asking if you weren't going to get it when I came in they weren't even sure what register they were going to use stood in line the cashier was taking orders on one side then she diceded to use the other register then instead of telling me took two other customers on the other side and made me wait when I was there first only two employees that had any form of kindness where the two darker men cutting the ribs and sausage at the meat stations one lady did try and have a conversation but she was more or less complaining about having to work in doors on a nice day and the heat of the place bathroom didn't have toilet paper in most the stars or soap to wash hands and was dirty as can be I've been to many golden corrals and usually they have a wide selection of items to choose from but this one I swear they just need to close down with this mess or charge a smaller amount and was that dinty more chicken in dumplings and frozen ribs?
