We’ve been here an hour and still don’t have our food. Waitress is less than friendly, and it’s not even busy in here. This is ridiculous.

Ordered breakfast today - Omlette and toast. It was delicious ans the service was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and had a great personality. We arrived there at 6:50am 12/5/25. There was a group of 4 of us there this morning.

My wife and I truly enjoy all our experiences at Kingsport Ihop.
The wait staff and manager are attentive and friendly. Food is consistent and done to our expectation.
As far as the unsightly machine
In previous posts ;
It was necessary to cool the dining area during repairs to the rooftop unit.
Ask for Melissa or Teana to serve you.

We come here frequently. All of the servers are very efficient. And friendly. We once were witness to a customer who was trying to scam the restaurant. She called the server some very offensive things. The server and the staff handled the situation very professionally. They did not make a scene or interrupt the other diners. Tiana was respectful to the person. We will always come back. We always request Melissa's section. Love it here.

Just walked out of this place. After listening to the hostess/waitress/whatever complain for 5 minutes before even greeting me. I was seated. Hatefully. Ordered coffee and cream. Eventually got coffee. Asked for cream. “Oh yea” but never got it. Was asked if I was ready to order. Uhhh no. I need a menu. People then walked in the front door. They were told it would be at least 10 minutes to seat them because she was so busy. Now mind you, the place was very very far from busy. I got up and left. I also advised the nice people that were patiently waiting to do the same. I don’t get it. I ate there a couple nights in a row week before last and it was fine. But tonight’s hostess/ waitress/ customer service representative wasn’t there. I’m currently sitting at Waffle House having good food and great service.

The waitress was a smart butt about the dressing choices and than I ordered a salad no onion no tomato and was given a salad full of chopped white onions all under my lettuce and cheese. The waitress acted like I was lying about them. I'm allergic to onions and now I'm sick to my stomach and feel weird. She got a attitude with me and my mom so we got up and left. It happened around 530pm.

I am not sure what this is but it doesn't seem like it should be there. Maybe it is time to revamp this building. Are there no rules, regulations and standards for IHop? Whoever owns this location needs to fix this. The location and the esthetics of the place doesn't say much about the owner.

My Chicken for my waffles was burnt black. When I saw it, I told waitress that I didnt want it. She said it was new grease and to try it. I did and it was burnt. I cant believe it was even sent out. My husband who will eat anything even said he wouldnt have ate it either. After sending it back. I was afraid to get anything else. Never know what happens to your replacement food in the kitchen. Probably nothing. But thats just me. Everyone elses food was Great and they shared with me. We will still go back. This was only our first bad experience. We have been there several times. But it seems like there prices have been significant increased.

The staff was ok..most food was pretty good. The chicken on the waffles..not so good. It's clear the oil needed changing in the fryer.
