Visited the restaurant this afternoon, which we are a regular customer there. Sitting at the table in the corner in the back and roaches were crawling down from the pictures. How nasty, if they are in the dining area can you imagine what’s crawling in the kitchen. Will never be back at this restaurant.

My husband and I are on a road trip and after checking in to the local M6 we walked over to La Carrera for dinner. The food was delicious; the server, Theresa, was friendly, attentive, and answered our questions about the menu easily. My husband was totally impressed with the large beer he ordered... It came in a large 32 oz beer stein!
Always the best La Carreta to go to..the servers are always on point 100%. We went to one at the pinnacle in Bristol tn and it didn't compare.

Our family was going here quite a bit and stopped. Last few times we've been in the food is just cold and not good. The beans and rice are tasteless. The steak is tough. The chicken blah as well. I ordered a margarita and it mostly tasted like a glass of water. Not impressed. Haven't been back since and no desire to return. And very tired of going in and the (what may be the owner,tall older man with black hair) never ever smiles or greets you..just grabs menus and walks you to a table. :( when you pay..he's always the one to take your card/cash..and never says Thank you. Bad business practice as far as I'm concerned.
