Order at the counter experience. I ordered cheesesteaks which were very good for the price I got them at. Food didn't take too long to arrive. Place was clean. Neat place to eat at. Wish they had booths but whatever. Will def eat here again and have already recommended it to others

This is a wonderful little diner. The food is great and the service is always warm and friendly. They make us feel like family. We live about 40 miles from Sloopy's. We're only in Kingsport about once every 4 to 6 weeks. But we always go to Sloopy's for lunch.

We get take out quite often from this diner and have never been disappointed. The people that work there are a great group of people that make you feel like family. If you're looking for a great place to try definitely give them a shot. Their hotdogs are the bomb, the pretzel bites are amazing and the Philly is delicious! Tell Matt we sent you! 😁

The restaurant has a great nostalgic feel reminiscent of an ice cream parlor and burger joint from the 1950's. The food is always cooked to order and is one of the best burgers I've personally ever had. The portions are generous. The staff and owner are genuinely friendly and bend over backwards in the name of customer service. It's a great dining experience and family friendly. 10/10. My family and I love this place!

I just ate here again and I love the way the atmosphere of this nice little diner! You can't help but get a feeling of being family when your there and when you leave, not to mention the hot dogs are fantastic and the little soft pretzel bits are addicting I'd leave more then 5 stars if possible, A MUST if your in or around Kingsport!!!

4:48 took until 5:35 without any warning of a wait, Got a gallon of tea just to be given a gallon without a lid. I already paid just to figure out I can't even keep it fresh at all. We were hoping to have something to drink on for the week instead I'll have to pour out the rest by the end of the night ... Can tell it's either under new management or something because this never happened before been going for years... But now I question If I even want to go back. But apparently haven't had lids in over a month you'd think they'd try and order some or at least not offer gallons until they can get something figured out but I got this instead

The vibes this place gives reminds me of watching like an 80's summer movie where the high school teens hang out for burgers, dogs and ice cream. Staff was friendly and the food was pretty good. I recommend trying this place 🙂

Food isn’t bad but their food safety isn’t great. All the cooks I could see in the kitchen had long hair but no hair net or hat and was shaking their heads around like people do when they have an itch which could potentially shake hairs and dandruff on the food. Another alarming issue I noticed the cooks had no gloves on, and when they set the tray in the window to be served to me one of the cooks bare handed grabbed my burger to split it open and make sure he was sending out the right thing. I brought up the issue to the guy that brought me my food and he had nothing to say and walked away without resolving it.
