My favorite of the two bagel joints in Kingsport - the bagels are more chewy/less bready, with a shiny, crackly, golden crust. Many of the add-ons are free - my go-to order is a #1 (lox, capers, onions) but substitute their excellent veggie cream cheese and add tomato. This place stays busy for good reason, and it's fun to be in the middle of the action, with carts of bagels in various stages of proving and baking whizzing around. Love the yogurt-filled muffins too!

The Bagel Exchange is awesome! I tried the Rueben yesterday & it was absolutely amazing. The quality is top tier and it is the closet thing you can get to an authentic New York bagel! The staff was extremely kind and they got the food out quick! If you’re in the area and you’re craving a bagel you should definitely check this place out!

This has quickly become a weekly staple for me and my family! After the first time we visited Bagel Exchange, we were hooked! All of their sandwiches are amazing. The tomato soup doesn’t disappoint!
