This has been a "go to, special occasion" restaurant for me, my family and friends, for decades. Food was mostly great; the chicken picatta on mashed potatoes was everything I could have hoped. My blue cheese chopped salad, not so much; it seemed a little sad, as though it had to sit alone for a while, and I could not discern blue cheese, which is usually pretty upfront. This was an excellent experience. I thought it was going to be like an Outback, but it's WAY better than that. All of the food was great, and the service was flawless. We had appetizers, dinners, and homemade ice cream for dessert, and it was all delicious! Pleasantly surprised here, will definitely go back.

Chop House was recommended by a local to Kingsport and it was strangely very good. Ms. Sarah, our waitress, was always smiling and very informative about the menu. She made recommendations and my wife had one of the suggestions (Medallion steak). I had the prime rib which was the best I have had in my 56 years. Our anniversary was made special by Ms. Sarah and we thank her so much for being there. We watched other servers and they were very pleasant with every other customer around...
