Wasabi | Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Love lunch. We came for dinner & I was very disappointed tonight. Food was very skimpy & basically same as lunch but higher priced. Waitress was not good but automatically added 20% tip on 5 people.

Our server was great. Food was mediocre. One chef for 6+ hibachi tables so the wait was excessive. The restaurant is very outdated and could use some TLC. Didn't compare to the Knoxville location.

Our 1st time coming to this restaurant. Friendly people. Great food. And the hibachi cook was awesome. Our experience there was really good. If we are in this area again we will go back.

This is a tired looking interior, dark and nondescript, service is just 'ok' because it's about the hibachi grill entertainment-wow factor...so it is not a trendy place at all, just sayin'. Perfect for Sunday lunch to me.

Hibachi shrimp was delicious. The
udon noodle soup had no flavor, and I have had it many other places.

I'm not a sushi connoisseur! My friend is and he ate everything in sight. I did try the Yellowtail Jalepeno sushi appetizer, which was great ?? and the sushi chef was nice and easy to talk to.

So there you have it a mixed bag, but it is a calm spot not loud and plenty of good parking in the lot out front.

Myself two children and wife went to try to eat and show them an experience they'd never seen before. The first table they tried seating us at was on the side of the grill that had only one seat left and they wanted to try to fill with four of us. The second table I asked that we be sat at was a table that was in front of the grill. She said okay and then took us back to a table that was again on the side of the grill. Looking at the cook's back if he was there. I refused and all I got was something in the language I couldn't understand and we left. So we went to chop House where we always get a great meal!

Went for an early dinner in a Sunday so wasn’t busy at all. We were 2 of about 5 people total in restaurant. We sat at the hibachi grill and our chef was great! Very personable & gave us a fun experience! Good was good. Not my favorite hibachi as the flavor was lacking and the portion size of the veggies was very small. The shrimp sauce was too sweet and thick (don’t think it’s made fresh). We did like the fact that they didn’t over feed us with too large of portions. We both had filet hibachi hubby added scallops. His opinion is he’d go back i’m on the fence until I try other places as I feel that there are better places in the area. The restaurant it self seems old and run down. Bathroom sign is written in sharpie marker on the wall.

Great steakhouse & such a wonderful atmosphere with very friendly employees! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food in a family friendly atmosphere this is the place!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
