I want to preface this review by saying that I'm rating this one time experience at this restaurant. As many of the locals know this place has been very hit or miss on the kind of experience you might have here. Sometimes it great and other times very lack luster. To be honest the wife and I stopped coming here period because we'd rather drive an extra 5 minutes to ensure a good experience. However, I heard that they have gotten new management in November 2023 and they also added some new menu items such as queso birria which is our new favorite.Ok after saying all of that I can say that we had a very pleasant experience this time. We ordered the Chorripollo and the Queso Birria Tacos and it was all great. Food served from the back very fast, it was hot, and also very tasty. We also ordered their tomatillo hot salsa that we get from every Mexican restaurant because we need the spice.We will be back again after having such a nice experience this visit. I'll edit my review If I need to update it.

Are you looking for some Mexican food that isn't the prototypical rice beans and meat on a warmed plate this is it. The food is excellent different and very reasonably priced. This is a real special place not real big but it has a nice patio. It's not very big inside and gets a bit loud but the quality and quantity of the food is exceptional. The service is good and fast just don't expect fancy or overly attentive. Anyway I've opened and or run a dozen or so restaurants and the food here can hardly be beat try this place you won't regret it

The prices were very reasonable and you got big portions of food.
Visited on a sunny day for lunch, so we got to sit on the outdoor patio. The food was fantastic ( try the chicken chimichanga!), large portions, and came to the table quickly.
Great place for a quick bite of food! Awesome staff and food! Quick and easy service! Great prices too!Parking: Only about ten 7 spots infront of the restaurant. Don’t park directly infront of the liquor store. The owner will have a fit. But there is additional parking on the other side of the lot!

A great stop driving back to Knoxville for a late Monday lunch! And, hot tip: Their lunch menu is available until 3 pm!We were delighted with our meals, which were tasty, basic Mexican fare. The taco salad was good. The Best of Don Eduardo's Grill lunch special was really great with far more than you might expect for a lunch special: grilled beef, chicken, shrimp, veggies, served with rice, beans, salad, guac, and tortillas. Served sizzling!And, the happiness of supporting a smaller local business, rather than the generic sameness of the big box chains.Our server was very friendly, kept our water and tea filled, and put orders in and brought them out promptly. We'll stop here again.

Nice atmosphere. Food was delicious. I had the Mac Daddy or Daddy Mac Burrito. It was bangin. I kinda did t like the sauce, but I'm used to usually only getting red or green sauces. All in all, I'd your in town visiting or haven't been yet, go ahead and try the place.

This was my third time eating here. The first time the food was subpar. The second time my order was messed up. Tonight I paid $12.99 for a bowl of Menudo and it was so salty and overly seasoned that it was difficult to try and eat some of it. I am a huge fan of spicy , seasoned food, but it was like eating a salt block. I will not visit again anytime soon. The atmosphere, however, was relaxing and the service was good.Parking: Very small lot. Tight area.
