The brisket was good not the best I've had but not bad. The pulled pork was also pretty good. The pulled chicken was also pretty good, it wasn't as dry as most places. I felt like the sides portions were kinda small. The baked beans were average and the Mac and cheese wasn't anything special. I put some baked beans and pulled pork on top of the mac and cheese and it was pretty good. They should add a loaded mac and cheese to the menu. The sauces are decent but...
We got the three meat BBQ platter to share, with a baked sweet potato and fried okra. Everything was excellent. My husband said this was the best fried okra he's had. If you're from the north like we are, just try it!
Our waitress was also very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.

One thing I can never get enough of is a well ran, family owned business with a staff who loves to have us as much as we love being there.
Fantastic pulled pork sandwich, and the cole slaw that really ties it all together. Good sauces, and good slow smoked pork shoulder. That's for sure.
