Looked for a place to have breakfast after a long 10 hr drive. Checked places online and they recommended Alice's. Put it in out GPS and drove there. To be honest, its not much to look at. We almost didn't go in. Thank God we did. Some if the best breakfast food that I've ever tasted. The waffles are to die for. I was only in the area for 2 days, but I promise u this, I will go back next time I visit Knoxville. Service was extra special & some of the customers...
This is your average hole in the wall diner.It's difficult to find when you're on the street because there is nothing really that indicates a diner is there to begin with. Just blank white walls.The service was lacking in almost every aspect and it wasn't busy either which is always disappointing. Decent atmosphere, nothing special. As for the food it's average at best nothing remarkable.Since there wasn't anything great about it I prefer to go to Waffle...
Alice's dinner is one of our local favorites. Food is made to order from scratch. We usually get the beaten path, but today we sprung for the road cart and it was soooo good. Pancakes were delicious! You want a real dinner style breakfast, Alice's is the place! Can't name a better place!
