“Phenomenal experience at JC holdway! I cannot say enough about the exceptional service. Our waiter (Davin I think is his name) walked us through the menu with special tips and descriptions. He was spot on with everything. My favorite things were the egg in a bowl gnocchi and the bolognese. Everything came as a perfect bite when you put every single ingredient together. Fantastic wine selection available. The whole experience is worth the price. Highly recommend. I’ll be back!”

“Wonderful place. Food was great and has been improving steadily for years now! They have really found a great niche and have consistently provided something more intimate and enjoyable than a "main event" styled entertainment activity!

Wide selection of alcohol and fun craft drinks! The walls are lined with classic pinball and standup styled arcade games! The drinks seem thought out and are very tasty and the arcade games and pinball seem well maintained! They also offer console gaming opportunities through the TV's set up at various spots. Beyond the digital gaming they also offer board games and I have heard about events (unsure of what kind) being held here.

A wonderful place to bring friends and even children (although I would avoid bringing kids after the "bedtime" part of the day). Predominately a hip and younger crowd but I saw people of all walks enjoying their time there!

Parking: A huge parking lot that usually has near to front door parking

Kid-friendliness: Kids seem welcome and have a fun time here. I would consider checking the place out first or bringing children before 8 or 9 pm (depends on the parent since every one there was very friendly).

Wheelchair accessibility: There were two very close parking spots and 2 more only 80 feet away from the front door. There was a need to walk about 40 feet from the parking spot to get to a ramp (but hey there is a ramp!!). There are both low top and high top tables so there would be a place to sit, and the bathrooms (at least the men's) had wide stalls to accommodate access!”

“When I told my foodie friends I was coming to Knoxville, this was one of the first suggestions everyone mentioned for something upscale. It did not disappoint.

I tried the whiskey flight and honestly each one was excellent. I decided to get a small plate and entree. I went with the little gyro tacos and they were great for something to start. Main course was the short rib and oh man… melted in my mouth so delicious. Definitely worth going. A little pricey but worth it.”

“My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary there. Dominic took exceptional care of us! He was professional, friendly, and was terrific at anticipating our needs. The hostesses were so sweet too. One of them gave us a handmade Happy Anniversary card that was from the staff that was so cute. I really appreciated that gesture. We both had steak. I had the steamed broccoli and corn creme brulee. He had the onion rings. All of our food was amazing and delicious! We were so happy to have received the Heath Bar dessert w homemade ice cream on the House! The inside is beautiful too. Thank you Chop House for making our Anniversary dinner so special. ❤️❤️❤️”

Kid-friendliness: Best to get there after 6 am. For the kiddos. It is not because of the people who work there either. Patrons can be a bit rowdy on weekends after closing down other establishments. But as an adult... sometimes that is where the entertainment is.”

“The store was busy as all get out people where in line out the door and a cute red headed lady was running the place like a general leading the troops to battle she sent one waitress per each flank and I swear those hashbrownd didn't know what hit em they found themselves scattered, smotherd and coverd before they knew what hit em and to add insult to injury that cute red headed waitress/cook chopped pepperd cappd and finally topped like nobody's buisness. I do declare that fine little red headed filly then comensed singing the waffle house song while she washed every dish in the place 3 times all by herself. I've neve0r00 been 0s0o impressed by any waffle house crew as I was this one that girl was a well oiled machine I tell ya lubed in all the right spots why if I could I would make that filly an honest woman and court that lovely lady I'd be a mite more agreeable if I had me a woman like that I think I heard someone call her Marie or Ham or somethin they shore did get em a humdinger Hirrin that Philly belive me you”

“Where else can you get gas are a frozen drink for 99 cents the customers are real friendly I've never had any problems from them it's the Casey's beside Hardee's at the red light they are so friendly and the store is clean the bathrooms are clean which is very shocking considered it stays busy here come by and see”

The burgers were very good. It took about 15 minutes for our food to be made. I wish there were more than just 7 onion rings since it was almost a $2 upgrade.
Would definitely eat a burger from here again though. While it was expensive, it was tasty.”

“We stumbled upon this place while we were looking for a local place to grab breakfast. You do want to be there early as it is a first come, first serve - one man shop. The blueberry breakfast sandwich and blueberry biscuits were buttery and soft. Excellent experience and we will be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!”

She politely said, "of course" and took my order. “WOW! What a gem Caza Brava Mexican Restaurant is! My friend Jason was craving Mexican food to celebrate his birthday. I just googled nearest restaurant to us and this came up first. So glad we decided to give it a try! From the moment Xavier graciously and enthusiastically greeted us at the door, we had the most scrumptious meal served by our most attentive waitress, Mary Bell. What a lovely person and hard worker! Oh, right! You want to know about the food! Fantastic! Jason had nachos and I was torn between a shrimp dish and their vegetarian dish which had more and varied vegetables than you see on most Mexican restaurant menus. I asked Xavier if he could add shrimp, and he came up with a solution immediately, which turned out to be SO FLAVORFUL And the presentation was truly beautiful! I never take pictures of my food at restaurants, but last night I did! And I’ve never written a review of a restaurant, not ANY restaurant…ever. Xavier and the rest of the staff, the quality of the service, and the tastiness of the food deserves five stars plus plus plus! I’ll be bringing more of my friends here!”

“I can't lie y'all, this place is incredible and a MUSTTT try. I got the Strawberry Dolewhip and it was phenomenal. Super light and the perfect amount of sweet. A lot of the time I find that ice-cream places infuse their fruity flavors too much and it becomes too strong, but Cruze does it perfectly- not to mention that they source their ingredients locally! Incredible ice-cream with great service. We had a dog with us, and they are not dog friendly on the interior but the server didn't hesitate to offer to take our order outside and even bring our ice-cream to us outside. Such a wonderful experience coming here and I would be here all of the time if I could.

Parking: Nearby parking lot that is free on the weekends and has plenty of space!”

“Visited again and got some ice cream while we were traveling in TN. Been here 3 different times over the past couple of years. It's always busy, waitresses are always polite and the service is fairly quick.

Personally, I find the prices to be high ($24 for 2 kids cones, 1 adult cone and 1 small milkshake) but it always tastes good, so no complaints there.

To me, their ice cream reminds me of homemade ice cream that we used to make as kids in the 90's during those hot dog days of summer. It's a very specific and familiar taste.”

“Having watched the Dave Portnoy/"One Bite" pizza review of this place, we made it a point to stop and try the pizza and frozen custard when last in the area; we were not disappointed. The family owned/operated business is charming, welcoming, and a pleasure to visit. The short few miles of a drive off of the interstate is well worth the time. Plenty of parking available during our visit.

The Pizza Barn is clean, comfortable, and our pizza was delicious; cooked to order. Save room for the frozen custard served from the multi story house across the parking lot, and enjoy your treat while sitting in comfortable chairs on the large, covered, open air porch. They do offer drive thru service at the custard stand, but why be in a rush? Park the car and enjoy a few relaxing minutes on the porch with your frozen treats. Those "in the know" purchase their dairy's milk products; Dave Portnoy gave their chocolate milk a 11 out if 10 score!

We will definitely make this a "must stop" when next in the area.”

From the healthier frying of the mushrooms, to the richness of the not cheese on the Mac, the collards were succulent and flavorful. For me though, the winner was the sweet potatoes! I dream about the sweetness of the sweet potatoes lol. I washed it all down with a ginger infused concoction and was thoroughly satisfied.”

I have only tried the taco options, and I always get on soft corn with cilantro and onion, plus shredded cheese so that is all I can speak to. 2 is more than enough to fill you up. Portions are huge for a $4 taco of this quality! 3 gets you to thanksgiving comatose level. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat 3 unless you have really let yourself go in the gluttony department. Get 3, save one for later.”
