“I have never tasted such flavorful food in my entire life. I didn’t know food COULD be this good. This was my 30th birthday dinner place of choice, and I do not have one complaint. The details with the dated menu and birthday card impressed me. The food impressed me even more. I had the scallion hushpuppies as an appetizer — the sauce that’s paired with them absolutely sealed the deal with my tastebuds. I also had the slow cooked egg gnocchi, which was a classy spin on chicken and dumplings. Based on the description, I was hesitant. But it was highly, HIGHLY recommended by our waitress, so I took a leap. My gosh, I was tilting the bowl and drinking even the very last drops of the broth. I simply cannot wait to come back here and try new things. Thank you, chef!”

“The not so good: although the waiter took care of our table, he was very rushed and it was even difficult to understand him, so we even preferred not to ask him certain things about the menu since he seemed very rushed. The food was actually delicious in general, but it was nothing out of this world, no new or surprising flavor. I wouldn't order the "Falafel" dish again, mainly because it was very dry.The good: the signature drinks are definitely the strong point of this restaurant, original and with new flavors. The atmosphere: very good atmosphere to have a good evening”

Q Korean Steakhouse 8851 Town and Country Cir, Knoxville Korean • $$
8851 Town and Country Cir, Knoxville

“This is a super fun place for a group gathering or for date night. Or as it happens, dinner with my 14yo son. TVs all around with K-Pop, loud, but not so loud that it is detrimental to conversations. I wish I could post the photo of the meat choices we had, but it isn't allowing it. We got the dinner for two. Although at first glance it looks like it won't be enough meat, trust me, that isn't the case, we took a lot home, and my son is a bottomless pit when it comes to any kind of steak/beef. I am allergic to seafood so I could not have the shrimp that came with the deal, so they substituted with chicken teriyaki, which I believe the waiter said was the only substitution option. Our waitress/waiters have all been EXCEPTIONAL! They understand the nature of how important hospitality is for Korean restaurants (yes, most restaurants do) but these went above and beyond. Very impressive to say the least. Very attentive, very knowledgeable and always had refills brought promptly, or even before asked. We do enjoy coming here and will continue to do you. SUPER YUM!!!”

Everything we tried was awesome, and we did like a little sampler with a couple of almost everything—tapas style. The service was great. A very kind and professional team work the front of the house. We had a bit of a language barrier situation, but that just made for a more authentic and delightful experience. We enjoyed some appetizers (Brussels) and the artichoke dip. We then split the schnitzel. Everything was seriously perfection. Let’s not even talk about the warm crusty bread with whipped sweet butter. Could have eaten just that and been completely satisfied! Then our waiter asked if we wanted desert. We were so full but had to at least look. Could not pass up the crème brûlée chocolate cheesecake. oh-emm-geeee! Also the drinks we enjoyed—slushy concord colado and the cold fashioned. They were spectacular! We will be back before we head home and will be dreaming of this place until our next visit! (Be sure to check out their happy hour specials! “This was a phenomenal place for our anniversary brunch. First of all the hotel is beautiful with a long history starting out as the Peter Kern Bakery then becoming a hotel during the World's Fair in the 80s.The establishment has a really sophisticated atmosphere and the service was fast and friendly with a casual flare. We started off brunch like you should, with two mimosas and a plate of pastries. The walnut scone was delicious if not a bit dry, but the fresh jam more than made up for it. My fiance had an omelet and I ordered the K-town hot chicken and grits. The eggs in her omelette were fluffy and it was huge. Topped with a homemade salsa verde and over stuffed with mushrooms, peppers and sharp cheddar. It also came with a side of tasty fresh fruit. The K-town hot chicken and grits were wonderful, it had a little bit of a bite without being too spicy, the chicken was fried perfectly with a cornflake crust. The stone ground grits were like nothing I've tasted before... Granted not being from the south I have not tried many types of grits but these were delicious. The gravy on top of the chicken was hardy and satisfying. Even the egg that adorned the top was cooked perfectly. If I had to say anything negative about my meal was it could have been plated better.I'm looking forward to trying their dinner one of these days.”

We love the veggie plate also with broccoli for those that sometimes forego the meat.Vegetarian options: We often get the veggie plate. It's broccoli, carrots, baby corn (I don't know what is actually called lol) we are not even close to vegetarian but we like it.Parking: Plenty of spots. It shares a parking lot with food City and Lowe's so you may not get up front but you won't have to walk far either way.Kid-friendliness: They have kids plates that are just as big as the adult ones but cheaper.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level with a ramp up the curb. I'm not handicapped but I would imagine it's very easy to get around with it all being one level.”

“Did the 1 of each for the first course and the rattlesnake rabbit sausage was our favorite. She had the elk loin and I chose the bison but we both thought the elk was way better. We both got a salad, desert, 3 drinks each and shared a side. Total was about $450 but it was worth it.”

“We went on a Friday night and was an overall good experience. The food was very good but nothing that I would crave to return for. Again, there was nothing wrong at all, The only reason I would hesitate to return was that we felt the pricing was a bit high.2 mixed drinks(small), water and 2 dinner meals ran nearly $80. Small drinks are 12 to 15 each, but were delicious. Entrees start around 20 and up.If you have a little extra to spend, want a good atmosphere, and on point food, give them a try. I would suggest having plenty of time. It did take some time to get drinks, and food was about 25 to 30 mins after ordering. It had its charm and the waiter packed our to go boxes, so no complaints on service other than speed. Worth a try!”

Read in the reviews that it was still new so figured... what the heck. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos and my girl had the ACP. Food was exceptionally delicious and quite a nice serving. The vibe of the place reminds me of being on vacation. You must try this place out. When I return to Knoxville I will be back to eat at this place. “Our group of five had a wonderful dinner served by our outstanding waiter, John. Every dish at the table was individually excellent, with well-balanced flavoring - fresh and beautifully prepared. Our group can recommend specifically the Artichoke Fritti, Local Caprese Salad, and the Warm Castelvetrano Olives in the antipasti appetizer category. As main dishes, we just loved the Pollo ‘Al Mattone’, the Pan Roasted Sustainable Salmon, the Pork ‘Milanese’, and the Gnocchi Amatriciana. The Butterscotch Budino and Dark Chocolate Torte merit their own visit if you are just in the mood for something sweet and sublime in a pleasant, conversation-friendly atmosphere. We will return very soon.Dietary restrictions: There are at least two premium keto-friendly options on the menu (not salads.)”

These rolls are less expensive than other rolls but to look at them, one would think that these were of the more expensive type of roll. They were as Delicious as they look. The fish tacos which were also beautiful to look at were very Tasty! The soup and salad were so fresh and good.
