“We had a fantastic evening - first we were proactively moved from a table next to a large group and therefore noisy to a quieter space in the restaurant- where does that ever happen - secondly our dinners were exquisite- creativity and quality above the price - one of the best meals we’ve enjoyed in a while - had the tuna crisp - burrata salad -osso buco - chicken and trout - financier and olive oil cake - we would happily order any of those again - thank you for a wonderful evening - we will be back !”

“I come just for the short ribs and collard greens. It is some of the best that I have ever had. Inside is really nice but I also love sitting on the patio when the weather is nice. I recommend end Cafe 4 to anyone that is from out of town. It is a MUST TRY!!! Also, the punch bowl sangria are insanely amazing!!!!”

“We went here for our annual office Christmas dinner. The food was incredible- but the service was TOP NOTCH. All the servers were great but our main server Grace was knowledgeable as most of us had never been there before, our guys can get obnoxious and she handled them great and she was on top of everything. We didn’t feel rushed or like we were waiting for anything even though we spent over four hours enjoying our experience. 5 out of 5 stars would def recommend and am going to personally bring family back for celebrations. Great times were had by us all.”

“First time eating there. Read Grubhub article in paper. He was wrong in his rating, it's a 5! For anyone really serious about Korean/Japanese fine cooking KOKO is a must. It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.”

The gal who waited on us - I think she’s an owner - was so helpful and patient with us newbies!! 💕 We got savory spicy chicken crepe sandwiches and bubble teas to start. It was cool to watch the sandwich making process from beginning to end! And both the teas and sandwiches were DELICIOUS!! Of course, we saved room for dessert. Thankful we did!! “Last night we decided to give Lilou Brasserie a try, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we sat down, the experience was wonderful. The warm baguette was perfect, the cheeses were flavorful and thoughtfully selected, and the main dishes were absolute perfection. And the crème brûlée was hands down my favorite and easily one of the best I’ve had. We will definitely be back, and honestly, we’re a little sad we didn’t stop by sooner. If you’re looking for incredible French cuisine in Knoxville, I highly recommend Lilou Brasserie.”

“The store was busy as all get out people where in line out the door and a cute red headed lady was running the place like a general leading the troops to battle she sent one waitress per each flank and I swear those hashbrownd didn't know what hit em they found themselves scattered, smotherd and coverd before they knew what hit em and to add insult to injury that cute red headed waitress/cook chopped pepperd cappd and finally topped like nobody's buisness. I do declare that fine little red headed filly then comensed singing the waffle house song while she washed every dish in the place 3 times all by herself. “The lady at the Casey's off of gallaher in waterbridge the lady that works there is very sweet she always lets me get us some ice for my cooler so I don't have to pay $4 for a 7 lb bag of ice that melts within three hours out in this heat she really helps me and my crew out we only get paid biweekly and I also have stage 4 breast cancer with metastatic disease so I miss a lot of work she is a blessing now remember I only ask 1 time a week and if it's my pay week I buy it, yeah she is such a blessing to my crew without her help we would have to drink hot water all day long thank you for hiring such a sweet and caring people at your stores”

Place an online order for delivery Friday and had some confusion and got delayed called and spoke with someone.Got it taken care. The app showed issues the next day so I stopped in at the store and cici( I believe that was her name) Was a wonderful help. She got my order right away for me. So helpful and kind. Spoke with some of the other employees and they all seemed so nice and optimistic. Adding another photo”

“Fun place and dog friendly. Pulled pork was very good, brisket was ok, corn was off the chain. Got some wings with the dry rub to go. All spices were very mild. Prices were reasonable and service was somewhat friendly.”

“They created my 31st birthday cake and it was absolutely amazing! Not only did it look beautiful, but it was also incredibly delicious. I can be pretty picky about flavor and texture, but they completely nailed it. I recently moved to Knoxville and was hoping to find a bakery that I could truly love and keep coming back to, and this experience made that happen. The whole process from ordering the cake to picking it up and finally tasting it was smooth and wonderful. My whole family loved it, I will definitely be ordering future cakes from them!”

So you order your food and they give you a number on a stand which you place on the seating of your choice. Five minutes later two young ladies brought our orders to our table and came back multiple times to check and see if we needed anything else. Five stars are definitely in order for this restaurant.”

I typically order the kids meal which is an afforable option for a light lunch and comes with a drink. The cucumber mint is my favorite drink and I always get the pita chips with crazy feta and skhug sauce. We tried the cinnamon pita chips today with honey. Perfect ending to a great meal. Thankful to my daughter in law for introducing me to CAVA.”

“We stumbled upon this place while we were looking for a local place to grab breakfast. You do want to be there early as it is a first come, first serve - one man shop. The blueberry breakfast sandwich and blueberry biscuits were buttery and soft. Excellent experience and we will be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Oh downtown Knox where do I begin… ever since my days at UT back in ‘96 I loved going downtown. Of course back then you would catch me at the hill or one of the other bars the fellas would be at. But now I come for a different reason… ICE CREAM. My wife’s boyfriend reccomended this place to me a while back, and ever since then we’ve been going at it nonstop (and I’m not talking about just the ice cream😉. He’s actually a really cool dude and, he hits the spot just right. At first I didn’t tell my wife that I was going out with her boyfriend, but when she found out she wasn’t actually that mad. She even lets me watch from the closet sometimes when Im good. Other than that, the ice cream is delicious and they always have fun flavors. I love the Santa’s cookie!!!! Local guide level 5 signing off!”

“This is the best place to eat in Knoxville and it's not even close. The barbecue is amazing. Pork is flavorful, the brisket is the best I've personally had, and the chicken is tender and juicy. The ribs are the meaning of tendernism. Their hot dogs are exactly what you hope they'd be (the chili is incredible and they load them up). But the jewel on the crown is the menu are the turkey ribs. I've never had a more delicious piece of heaven in my life. Fine, upstanding establishment that you are sorely missing even if you don't know it yet.”

“Took a cookie decorating class and it was AWESOME! The course was thoughtfully designed from the presentation to the guide cards at the table to Kelly’s tips and tricks along the way. The course moved quickly and I learned so much in just over an hour. It was perfect and I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. Already signed up for the next class!”

“Jig and Reel is a Knoxville staple. I’ve been coming here since college. The whiskey menu is extensive so if that’s your thing, this is the place. The food is shockingly good. I have always loved their fish and chips - super crispy, great fries, and homemade tartar sauce. My husband loves their scotch egg. We reserved their side room for an event recently and were so impressed. There was no fee for renting as we had about 30 people there that would be eating and ordering drinks. We were able to decorate the room to our liking (but of course took everything down afterwards). We ordered a charcuterie board and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Our server (can’t remember his name but he kinda looks like the DJ ‘Eliminate’) was fantastic. He was fast with orders, very observant of the room, and offered help wherever we needed. I was also happy to see that we were still treated well with it being a queer event - there was no hostility. We’ll happily have more events in the future here.”

“On brief vacation with my lovely wife, our hotel clerk suggested Monterrey which was close by. Visited of Friday evening and the place was packed. Many of the patrons appeared to be of Mexican descent, always a good sign of good, authentic food. We were quickly seated in a super clean, delicious smelling dining room and immediately greeted by a lovely young lady who brought us hot, fresh tortilla chips and a wonderfully tasty, fresh salsa which must have been made in house with chunks of fresh tomato and the perfect blend of chillies and herbs. We noticed that everyone was super clean and superbly efficient in doing their assigned tasks without being in the way, all the while appearing to be genuinely happy! This is a sign of an excellently managed business. A handsome, well I groomed gentleman (who I think is a part of the nuclear family who has operated this business for 35 years) stopped at our table to greet us and express his genuine appreciation for our patronage. He recommended a house specialty 'POLLO MONTERREY'. What a magnificent dish! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked chicken with spinach and some secret ingredients and spiced most excellently. Sizzling hot dancing sauces made this dish visually stunning and aromatically enticing. I cannot recommend this dish too highly. It was so delightfully good that we came back today, Saturday, for a repeat performance. This restaurant shows me how well an establishment can be operated. Nothing but excellence, unpretentious class, and the utmost in genuine customer service and satisfaction. Just so you know, my wife and I are not food critics, just common folks who appreciate being so well cared for in every respect. I forgot to mention the prices! We found the entire experience to be a tremendously good value. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. I expect you'll become regulars. We would be except that we live on Jane beautiful west (best) coast of Florida. Once again, Monterrey is in our decades long experience, right at the top of restaurants we would chose to frequent. “Excellent dining experience! We had a group of 6 for happy hour drinks and food. The hamburger was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Zucchini fries were crispy and delicious with the dipping sauce. The crab stuffed mushrooms were big and full of crab meat. Spicy shrimp was glazed and served with a spicy cucumber salad. All super delicious. Our servers were attentive and friendly. The desserts were really good. We will definitely be back!”

“They say you should never meet your heroes, but clearly they’ve never met Candy. I ordered a simple unsweet tea, macaroni, a burger slider… and she turned it into a five-star experience. Halfway through my meal, a flock of rogue pigeons somehow burst through the front door (long story), and one made a dive straight for my slider. In one fluid motion, Candy blocked it with a cocktail shaker, slid me to safety, and single-handedly negotiated peace with the birds. She refilled my tea before I even knew I was thirsty again. Her tea pouring technique should be studied in hospitality schools, and if she ever writes a memoir, I’ll be first in line… assuming she isn’t too busy saving the world. 5 stars, no notes”

“WOW! What a gem Caza Brava Mexican Restaurant is! My friend Jason was craving Mexican food to celebrate his birthday. I just googled nearest restaurant to us and this came up first. So glad we decided to give it a try! From the moment Xavier graciously and enthusiastically greeted us at the door, we had the most scrumptious meal served by our most attentive waitress, Mary Bell. What a lovely person and hard worker! Oh, right! You want to know about the food! Fantastic! Jason had nachos and I was torn between a shrimp dish and their vegetarian dish which had more and varied vegetables than you see on most Mexican restaurant menus. I asked Xavier if he could add shrimp, and he came up with a solution immediately, which turned out to be SO FLAVORFUL And the presentation was truly beautiful! I never take pictures of my food at restaurants, but last night I did! And I’ve never written a review of a restaurant, not ANY restaurant…ever. Xavier and the rest of the staff, the quality of the service, and the tastiness of the food deserves five stars plus plus plus! I’ll be bringing more of my friends here!”

WHEN HE BOUGHT THE ORDER HOME INSTEAD OF A LARGE GREEK SALAD THEY SENT A SMALL GREEK SALAD. I CALLED BACK TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS SMALL ORDER THAT TOOK AN HOUR TO RECIEVE AND THE MANAGER ( MAN ) TOLD ME THEN I SHOULD'VE ORDERED THRU DOOR DASH. IF THIS IS NOT THE MOST STUPID RESPONSE OF THIS MANAGERS INEPTITUDE TO RUN A BUSINESS. HE BLAMES IT ON A TOTALLY IRRELEVANT OTHER PARTY INSTEAD OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SERVICE PAID FOR. I REALLY USED TO LIKE MELLOW MUSHROOM BUT I WILL NO LONGER B PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. CUSTOMER SRRVICE IS NO LONGER A PRIORITY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. PROBABLY A TRUMP SUPPORTED FRANCHISE. Place an online order for delivery Friday and had some confusion and got delayed called and spoke with someone.Got it taken care. The app showed issues the next day so I stopped in at the store and cici( I believe that was her name) Was a wonderful help. She got my order right away for me. So helpful and kind. “My wife and I stopped by this afternoon for our first visit. If I could give them a 10 star review I would. We were greeted with huge smiles and a welcoming spirit from all the staff. Since we had never eaten there, I asked an employee for his recommendation and he turned out to be one of the managers named Trent. He was absolutely fabulous and kind and spoke to us for quite some time and made us feel like family instead of customers. He gave us solid recommendations and we tried the baby back ribs and smoked Turkey plates. The ribs were amazing to say the least but let me tell you about the smoked Turkey….it was banging. Best Turkey I’ve ever eaten. Hands down. The General Manager, Jeremy, also came and greeted us and told us about the restaurant and their philosophy, nothing frozen, and not even a microwave in the restaurant, everything is fresh made in house. He recommended the collards and macaroni and cheese. The collards were amazingly tender and just the right amount of spice, this was soul food level. Mac and Cheese, incredible. We acted like we had not eaten in a week and also got the potato salad and Cole slaw. The potato salad was like what I remember as a kid, a mustard based that made me smile. The cole slaw was a apple cider vinegar and sugar based and tasted like they made it just fresh just for us. And let’s don’t forget the cheese corn bread/biscuits that were moist and delicious. And I know that this is a long post and I’ve bragged on the food and how incredible it was but I will have to say, even as amazing as our meal was, the staff was even more amazing. We literally felt like we were the most valued customers because of the kindness and friendliness of the staff. 10 out of 10 experience all the way around. And we left with banana pudding and lemon meringue pie and it may be 2 days before I could possibly eat again. Thank you to Trent and Jeremy for a wonderful experience.”

“My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I stopped in today for a late lunch while visiting Knoxville from Ooltewah (Chattanooga). We're always on the lookout for great spots to eat, and this place did not disappoint. While there was a bit of a wait from ordering to getting our food, we weren’t in a rush—and it was absolutely worth it. My wife did also make the comment that she read that everything here was cooked fresh from ordering. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave us fantastic recommendations after asking a few thoughtful questions. We ended up loving everything we ordered. As we were eating, we overheard another customer commenting on how good the food was and how busy it had been earlier—it was around 2-3 p.m., so we figured the staff was catching their breath after the lunch rush. We’ll be back in town next week, and we’re definitely coming back here! I signed the check and left it at the table, as we had to hit the road back to Ooltewah and didn’t get the chance to properly thank our server. She was excellent, and we truly appreciated her service. We hope to see her again when we're back next week.”

“Staying at a nearby hotel with limited breakfast choices, I made the short walk to Just Love Coffee and it did not disappoint. I had a spinach and feta womelette, and my only regret was not getting the salsa (instead of sour cream). Very light and fluffy omelette with the perfect amount of spinach. The coffee was suburb. I drink decaf and ordered a latte. When the barista asked for milk options, she suggested oat milk (her favorite). It did not disappoint and now I’m a convert! So yummy. I will definitely come back when I’m here and try the lunch options next.”
