“This is hands down the best location in knoxville. However firehouse has done away with its vast hot sauce selection starting with the covid hysteria and still hasn't returned to what made firehouse fully stand our from competitors. Without sauces a 4, with sauces a 5. It's what set you apart in the first place.“

“Firehouse Subs is a wonderful place to eat. My go to meal is the Roast Beef sub on white. This time the roast beef had a smoky flavor that wasn't bad, just different. I need to research and see if this is a change from their previous roast beef offering. Firehouse definitely sets the standard for subs. The steamed, melted cheese and beef is better than any cold sub sandwich.There were three of us and our bill was about $45.00 which has become the standard for heating out. “Love their sandwiches! They always do a great job!My only complaint is that sometimes they round up your total without asking. Not that it's a huge deal, but it bugs me. It's like they assume you can afford to round up because you can afford to eat there. Technically, I really can't afford to eat there, but I do because the food is worth it.That extra $0.58 or $0.87 is a big deal to a single working mom who is desperately trying to afford a house in this crazy market.For now, I'm letting it go because it's less than $1 mostly. But it means I can't afford to go as often, so it's sad.“

“Always great tasting food. They were busy, but the subs came out tossed together. We opened the chicken sub at home and the bread and meats, etc had fallen apart. Have been multiple times, first bad experience and it's not even a really bad one.“

THE WEEKENDS ARE THE WORST. obviously.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu and cool firefighters and truck memorabilia as decoration for the entire store.Wheelchair accessibility: The door is not automatic, but the parking lot does have handicap parking.“
