“This was my first time here. The food was really good, as was the service. I was trying to decide between 2 items and polled the employees. It took 3 guys since it was tied between the first 2. I know I'll try the other option next time since it was hard for them to decide. I like having the option of bottled or fountain drinks. The atmosphere reminds me of a diner.“

“I stopped in McAllister's for a quick late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The deli was super clean and gave a nice relaxing vibe. The lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. I chose the Angus Baked Potato. It arrived at my table in a short amount of time, it was hot and looked great. My potatoe was loaded with Angus beef, red onions, and cheese. It was delicious.

“OMG! My husband needed to stop at Guitar Center and we spotted this little gem across the way. The steak in a sack, tamales, pasta salad, and smokehouse potato salad-all delicious! And the lemon cookies, WOW!“

“The Hardin Valley store has some really great people working there! There was a miscommunication about which sandwich I wanted and it was my fault for not checking before we left, but when I called them I was told to just bring it back down and they would make the correct sandwich. All of them were friendly and quick. My son loved the pizza meatball sub. But the large was TOO big for him. I think their Italian sub is phenomenal with the pepper sauce added to it. A large is definitely TWO meals for me! And you can never go wrong with the Freestyle machine in the dinning room, they're my favorite machines for drinks with MORE than just soda and tea.

“This restaurant is the bomb diggity! The first thing I noticed was not the menu but how clean the restaurant is kept and a 100 Health Score. I have had every variety of chicken salad here and my nephew who is with me loves the place also. I eat here at least twice weekly. The employees here are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. If you like Chicken Salad this is the place you’ll love to come to.“

The food it self is ok for the price you pay.There are mainly 2 people running the place, a very polite welcoming and nice middle aged man - I believe Ray him self, always accommodating and caring, and then ugh an angry rude middle aged woman. I have to say whenever she is not there the day seem brighter.She snaps, scoffs and gives these angry looks. What is her issue? Do other people get these treatment from her is it my middle eastern looks and amazing accent that bothers her?I would also suggest to add some fresh greenery to your options, prepackaged salads etc but mainly fix the attitude.“

Watching customers ahead of me use coupons I looked online and discovered a good deal. The clerk said I needed to order and pay online to get the deal. But he would make my sandwiches before I placed the order, to save time for both of us. That's good customer service.“

I asked if I needed to go through the drive thru to get service and the girl said no someone will be with you soon. I watched 6 cars go through the drive thru that came up after I had already been standing there. Complete disregard for customer service. That alone makes me not want to eat there again. Oh and the tomatoes were old and mushy.“

However, it's obvious they're being overworked with shifts being under-staffed. The employees are keeping such a positive attitude and always being helpful while they're having to serve these long lines of customers, in a process that needs two people minimum to be time effective.
