Great food at a reasonable price and family-owned. Enjoy it while it's here, the university is itching to displace them so that their contract with Aramark doesn't have any competition.
If you're hungry and at any one of the engineering buildings, this place hits the spot. There's nothing particularly remarkable about the food. It's mostly cafeteria style grub, and I'm pretty sure a lot of it is premade before it's served. As a result, you don't really get the home cooked vibe you'd think you'd get from a place called "Ray's Place." But Ray is a really nice guy, and this is the only spot to get food nearby without having to walk all the way to the student union....read full review

Cheap pre-cooked food, ideal for a quick lunch if what you need is to get some carbs to hold you until dinner. The food it self is ok for the price you pay.There are mainly 2 people running the place, a very polite welcoming and nice middle aged man - I believe Ray him self, always accommodating and caring, and then ugh an angry rude middle aged woman.
