“I’ve eaten at JC Holdway many of times over the last 4 years with my last visit being earlier this week. The food has always been delicious but this last visit exceeded expectations. We were so excited to eat we didn’t even get pictures of our food.
Of course the food was fresh and local but all elements of every dish we ate were executed at such high levels it blew my wife and I away. From creativity in plating to salt levels and acidity. Our dinner was phenomenal. Thank you to Chef Lenn and the whole team in the kitchen and at front of house.

What we ate:
Smoked fish dip (ask for extra chips if you run out before your dip is gone)
Pork belly biscuits (must order)

Grilled shrimp (my favorite)
Carrots (could have eaten 2 orders of this)

Chicken (stole the show)
Pork chop (amazing flavor)

PB&J tarte (fun eating)“

“I enjoyed the special vegan menu. I went here just for the vegan chef challenge and ordered all the items. Everything was very good. The appetizer was good, but hard to mess up fried food. The dip could use something to flavor it. Like dill or chives. I had issues with the burger bc it was bland. Took it home so I can add condiments. It was strange not having ketchup or mustard for the burger. Also not enough pickles on the burger. The bean patty was falling apart. Kind of hard to eat. Definitely, need some panko or bread crumbs to help hold it together. Otherwise everything was greats. I do wish the chocolate cake had a lot more cherries on top. Bc I absolutely love cherries.

It was clean and the waitresses we very friendly and polite. Parking is a bit challenging and getting there is hard as a disabled person.“

“My wife and I do not eat pizza often. Last night we decided to. We went to Dazzo's because of their reviews and hand tossed pizza. We dined in and had a great overall experience. Our BBQ chicken pizza was made in about ten minutes and it was delicious. We are looking forward to trying a pizza with their homemade red sauce next time. The gentlemen working there was also very friendly and inviting.“

“We went here for our annual office Christmas dinner. The food was incredible- but the service was TOP NOTCH. All the servers were great but our main server Grace was knowledgeable as most of us had never been there before, our guys can get obnoxious and she handled them great and she was on top of everything. We didn’t feel rushed or like we were waiting for anything even though we spent over four hours enjoying our experience. 5 out of 5 stars would def recommend and am going to personally bring family back for celebrations. Great times were had by us all.“

“First time here and food was amazing. My husband got the 2 piece chicken with slaw and beans. I got an appetizer the pickle spears 🩷 and snack plate. Highly recommend! Only complaint was cashier on her phone and FaceTiming someone. Loudly. “stopped in for a quick snack while getting tires changed and oh man. I had a gyro with a baklava, first bite had me hooked. hands down some of the best flavor in blount county. The gyro had me stuffed, but that first bite of baklava 🤤 so light, and crispy the perfect dessert to compliment the flavor profile. going to make this a regular stop.“

“I’ve heard about this pizza place for a long time and finally went and got a pie and a Caesars salad last night. I got the Dino pizza which is a two meat red sauce pie. One of the best pizzas I’ve had! The crust was delicious, just the right size, not doughy at all. The sauce was fantastic. So tasty. And the toppings didn’t disappoint. Very good quality meats. Overall, a very delicious pizza. I’ll definitely come back.“

“This is simply the best restaurant in Knoxville. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, the servings are large and the food is hot or cold, depending on what it is. The wonderful slaw is always chilled. In addition, the servers are friendly and efficient, although possibly overworked. What a great experience!“

“Quite frankly & straight to the point, for years I only went to another local Knoxville sushi spot that had half price sushi nights. Then my husband introduced me to Tangerine & it's the only place I happily go to & pay full price. The employees are the nicest ever! The food is great! The hot dishes are always piping hot & the sushi is great! We go at least once a month, if not more often. Presentation is always on point.“

“We were not able to book a reservation because we were looking for a dinner spot last minute. So we came early at 4:30pm and they were able to accommodate us. And WOW! Delicious drinks, great atmosphere and DELICIOUS FOOD! Would definitely come back to this restaurant next time I am in Knoxville!“

“Jig and Reel is a Knoxville staple. I’ve been coming here since college. The whiskey menu is extensive so if that’s your thing, this is the place. The food is shockingly good. I have always loved their fish and chips - super crispy, great fries, and homemade tartar sauce. My husband loves their scotch egg. We reserved their side room for an event recently and were so impressed. There was no fee for renting as we had about 30 people there that would be eating and ordering drinks. We were able to decorate the room to our liking (but of course took everything down afterwards). We ordered a charcuterie board and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Our server (can’t remember his name but he kinda looks like the DJ ‘Eliminate’) was fantastic. He was fast with orders, very observant of the room, and offered help wherever we needed. I was also happy to see that we were still treated well with it being a queer event - there was no hostility. We’ll happily have more events in the future here.“

“Our daughters organized a wonderful milestone birthday celebration for us at Ruth’s Chris in one of the private dining rooms, which included access to an inviting private outdoor patio.

The most appreciated complement to our celebration was the excellent service provided by our congenial hostess, Leah. She was gracious, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, with an attitude that made it clear she wanted to ensure our evening was truly special.

“I host events at HiWire and Leslie and her crew have always been so accommodating from day one. They are such a delight to work with. I love the space and how flexible they are with working with any event hosted there. It is extremely dog and family friendly. They always have a great selection of drinks for any pallette. the rooftop is a great spot on good weather days. Definitely recommend checking it out.“

“We can't drive by without stopping and getting an order of their homemade french fries. These fries are cooked to perfection with a golden brown surface and the exact amount of salt. The finishing touch is to dip them in their own special orange french fries sauce. Their order of fries has a very generous amount of fries at a very reasonable price.“
