We're visiting Knoxville and were looking for a nice Italian meal. This place didn't disappoint. We were greeted by friendly staff and got a few suggestions. We started with cheesy bread, perfection! The dough was good with a nice chewiness, lots of cheese and garlic. We stumbled upon Forno grill a few years ago after moving out to Knoxville and boy were we happy! As former NYer’s we tend to seek out the most similar pizza to match back home and this certainly is it. The restaurant is always immaculate and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. This place was incredible! After we couldn't get in at another restaurant, we happened upon this little jewel. The owners show joy and appreciation with everyone they encountered. They called regulars by their names and treated us first timers (from Virginia and Alabama) as though they had known us for years. The food was AMAZING!
