“Tokyo is definitely a good go to for your basic hibachi/sushi style of restaurant. The staff is always really nice. According to my wife the sushi is great. I usually get the chicken/shrimp and fried rice. Highly recommend visiting this hotspot off Northshore drive if you haven't already.“

“First time eating there. Read Grubhub article in paper. He was wrong in his rating, it's a 5! For anyone really serious about Korean/Japanese fine cooking KOKO is a must. It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.“

“Quite frankly & straight to the point, for years I only went to another local Knoxville sushi spot that had half price sushi nights. Then my husband introduced me to Tangerine & it's the only place I happily go to & pay full price. The employees are the nicest ever! The food is great! The hot dishes are always piping hot & the sushi is great! We go at least once a month, if not more often. Presentation is always on point.“

“Kabuki Restaurant is where you need to go for Japanese food in Knoxville (in Market Square). You know it’s going to be good when the staff are speaking Japanese, unlike a place down the street! We ordered the Salmon Bento, Pacific Roll, and the Oscar Roll, and a bottle of cold sake. It was all excellent!! Brittany gave great recommendations. Thanks Kabuki for a wonderful dinner!“

“Food was ok, exhaust system was terrible we were covered in steam. We didn’t even get finished eating our expensive meal before they came to clean the grill with a terrible smelling solution that smelt like vomit! When confronted waiter he was very rude and unprofessional, manager wasn’t any help either. Would not recommend and sure won’t be back!“

“Great sushi and other food.“

“I normally don’t go out to restaurants due to anxiety. Loud noises and a large crowd make me so anxious which is what I initially felt when I first walked in. It was loud and out of my comfort zone. I had debated, at least for the first few minutes of standing of just walking out and trying again another day when i’m able to go with someone. Even when I was seated too. I felt so out of place at first lol

But after being seated I was treated with such kindness! I’m SO glad that I didn’t leave and overcame my fear of eating out alone! I sat at the bar and was able to look at everyone having fun and I thought it was so cute! They made me feel like I was at home and the service was great!

Food was amazing, I got a seaweed salad which was literally perfect (usually they’re either too pickily, or too seaweedy? This one was perfect!) and I can’t remember the name of the other plate I got but I listed it in the photo. Absolutely a 10/10. Everyone here deserves the attraction that they get 🌟“

“Food is always good. Fish is fresh and portions are reasonable. Wait staff has always been impeccable in my 3 years of visiting. Seating is limited but for the price and selection, I'll choose Anaba over Nama any day.“

“The lady that I dealt with last night was one of the most sweetest people I have met in a long time. I was picking up an order to deliver and my phone went dead. My car charger wouldn't charge my phone, so I took the food back in and explained. She grabbed my phone and stuck it on her charger and let me use their phone to call DD so I could unassign. My phone charged enough to finish what I needed, hung up with DD, and delivered my order in time. It's rare that you find nice people in this world anymore, especially the restaurant industry. Again, she was the most sweetest and not because she helped me, but she never quit smiling while dealing with me and waiting on customers. While I was pacing back and forth waiting for support to answer, I looked around and it's one of the cleanest places I have been to. I didn't see one person on a phone or not working, that's very rare these days. Thank you again for being so patient and understanding with me!!!❤ Thank You!!!!“

“I've seen this place for years, but never tried it. This is such a hidden gem!! The food, prices and service are all amazing! In my opinion, just as good as a place like Wasabi. I had teriyaki chicken and the tempura vegetables for an appetizer. Such great flavor and tasted fresh like right off the grill. Will definitely be back!!“

“First visit at Drakes today and I gotta say, its the first of many more to come. My wife and I stopped in and the food was great. Kendall L. our server was fantastic and super accommodating. During the dining experience the manager even came buy and checked to see if we needed anything and if everything was up to our approval. Awesome experience all around. “I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for this restaurant. We love it! They are not Japanese, they are Cantonese Malaysian.

We get a whole roast duck usually takeout and on weekends they have crispy roast pork.

They just introduced dim sum.

Beef chow fun is solid.“

“I had a girl's day with one of my friends and we were starving because Chick-fil-A was busy and we didn't want to wait for them. So we went ahead to Little Tokyo and had the hibachi. I ended up ordering the salmon and scallops. The soup and salad were fantastic with the ginger dressing. And the food was good.“
