“This was my second time here, but it’s been years. Glad I came back. Food so good. Had sushi, and the rice was seasoned very well. We also had, wonton soup, calamari, edamame and egg rolls. My husband’s first time here and he loves it too! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Prices were awesome too! Lastly the staff was great!!!“
“Hands down the best place to get bibimbap in Knox! Food and menu is 10/10. The service is friendly and personal, the owners are delightful, and the food is consistently top notch. Service is quick, the menu is well curated and clear, and there is something for every taste and mood. The matcha is amazing too! I plan to become a regular, and am excited to see this place grow.Update: I recently also had the joy of celebrating my birthday with Kokos! The staff were so warm and friendly and helped coordinate with my partner and friends to surprise me! The staff were also so sweet and gave me some of their incredible sesame cheesecake with ube ice cream and it was incredible! One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend celebrating moments at this restaurant. We will be back!“
“Truly a gem ox Knoxville ! It's very reasonably priced Japanese Fare, with wonderful servers and a beautiful chateau style eating scene. I definitely recommend anyone looking to have a romantic dinner, or even a dinner with the boys go here. ( good adult beverages too ?.) And the RAMEN HOLY COW ..!5/5“
“We love Lil Tokyo! The staff always remembers us and has our orders basically memorized. Some of the chefs obviously cook differently than others but I haven't had many BAD chefs there. I like it when they cut the chicken into smaller pieces so sometimes I'll ask them to do that. We love the veggie plate also with broccoli for those that sometimes forego the meat.Vegetarian options: We often get the veggie plate. It's broccoli, carrots, baby corn (I don't know what is actually called lol) we are not even close to vegetarian but we like it.Parking: Plenty of spots. It shares a parking lot with food City and Lowe's so you may not get up front but you won't have to walk far either way.Kid-friendliness: They have kids plates that are just as big as the adult ones but cheaper.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level with a ramp up the curb. I'm not handicapped but I would imagine it's very easy to get around with it all being one level.“
“My boyfriend and I eat hibachi all the time and was in the area so we decided to try and soooo glad we did!!The crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot.One lady was serving, bussing and taking care of everyone she was so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious, the review that said the sweet carrots were best in town was not wrong! They melt in your mouth ?“
“Finally made it out to Anaba & was glad we did!The chasu ramen was amazing. The broth was super flavorful without resorting to being overly salty. I was initially put off by the upcharge to get chasu in the Tonkotsu ramen base, because I'm used to places skimping on the meat. But there was an entire pile of chasu slices in my bowl, so it was well worth it.The rest of our food (edamame & a few sushi rolls) was great too, as well as the service. We'll definitely be back!“
“Even on a busy night in Market Square, Anthony, the manager, was absolutely gracious in seating us. He smiled and was so nice despite the crowd there. He even made sure we had a nice booth for our date night, and I really appreciated that. Our waitress, Anna, was equally kind and generous in checking back with us to make sure we were enjoying our food and if there was anything we needed. The food speaks for itself! Every item we ordered was delicious! We had Crab Rangoon, Miso Egg Drop Soup, House Soup, Philly Roll, Eel Roll, and the Steak & Shrimp Hibachi ♡ Wish there were more stars to select, this is the best restaurant in Market Square!“
“Delicious food! I had the spicy tuna and spicy salmon bowl. We would definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: The employee who helped us was so helpful. My wife has gluten and nut sensitivities, and the employee was able to point out exactly what my wife could have. It made the experience super simple for her. I appreciated that so much.“
“Favorite place. 15 for lunch, 21 for dinner. Plain and simple don't debate, only made fresh unlimited buffet. I mean literally, order you're rolls sashimi, etc. Then your entree's. Eat what you order and you're good. Friendly owners and staff.Order to go, 4-8$ rolls, 7-12$ BIG entrees with rice. Never had one thing missing on an order either. Seriously I do not know why they aren't busier.“
“Mikata is wonderful! Definitely some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I had raw salmon in both a sushi roll and Nigiri, it was perfect. You can tell they use good fish. This was my first time trying Takoyaki, so I don't have anything to compare it to but, it was amazing. ?“
“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Knoxville and drive from the west side to get it!!!! The basil, fried rice and spring rolls are amazing with large portions!!Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten-free and can find wonderful dishes. I love the basil fried rice.“
“Saturday night 03/10/24.. I spoke to the owner briefly while I was waiting for a GrubHub order… I just want to say thank you for taking the time to chat with me and be kind even at 11:58pm when you all closed at 12.. Your kindness goes a long way!“
“This is a great cheap alternative to Wasabi or Asia Cafe. You get a good amount of food for a fraction of the cost. Another plus is that its made to order, so it always fresh and hot. The wait isn’t long at all neither only 10-15 minutes. For the yum yum sauce lovers, they give you a medium size container instead of one of the small ones.“
“Stopped in here with a friend based on her suggestion. Good food, small joint, half priced sushi rolls...Deal. Ended up ordering two amazing half price rolls and some other stuff, and the bill was like... $20 and fist of ones for myself. The fish tastes fresh and service was great. Will absolutely be back.“
“I hate I can't remember our waitress name as she was great! The food.... Amazing! Always try to stop at Drake's when in Knoxville for burgers and sushi, but this time we branched out on the menu. We found the "bowls"! They were fantastic, I had the chicken teriyaki and hubs had the Mac and cheese with buffalo chicken both were outstanding! Over all I have nothing bad to say! Overall cleanliness, atmosphere, and the food .....just great! Please keep up the good work! And when in Knoxville go to Drake's!Parking: I don't know that I would pull a large RV or camper in as it is a small mall parking lot...“
“We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, Caterpillar Roll and fish tacos. These came with Miso Soup and Garden Salad. These rolls are less expensive than other rolls but to look at them, one would think that these were of the more expensive type of roll. They were as Delicious as they look. The fish tacos which were also beautiful to look at were very Tasty! The soup and salad were so fresh and good. Portion-wise, servings were generous and although we could have had to go boxes, we ate it all, right there. Jillian was our server and she was so efficient and so funny that we felt like we had found a new best friend! Service was the best and we hope you will go and discover this Wonderful restaurant.“
“We've done takeout and have dined in and the food is consistently good! Mostly good experiences, but one major complaint, below. We are local and want to support this business! We like the sushi specials. The dining room ambience is just OK, kind of dark and very brown. The young gentleman that is usually there is efficient, but pretty quiet and reserved. Not super welcoming. My big complaint, and why I am compelled to write this review, is that we brought some guests and ate at one of the 2 large round tables with the turntables in the middle. We thought this would be fun to share multiple dishes, and it would be, if that middle 'lazy Susan' turning part actually turned smoothly, and if the glass was clean and not smeared from the last cleaning. Even worse, and the reason for the review, was the used flimsy dollar store type plastic tablecloth on there. You can tell it was reused, who knows how many times. Gross! We should have asked for a fresh one. Come on, guys! It was embarrassing bringing people there nevermind unsanitary, not to mention we spent a good amount on the meal. It's not hard to source tablecloths even if you have to take them home to wash them. Clean this up and we'll gladly be back often with others!“
“First time trying Kabuki and we will be back! The best sashimi we have had so far here in Knoxville and we've been everywhere! Everything from the saki to the donuts were amazing! Highly suggest the shrimp tempura, the filet hibachi, the sashimi plate, and the donuts.“
“We’ve probably visited 4-5 times in the last two months. The food and service have been consistently great! Every time we’ve been the staff have been incredibly friendly, especially with the kids. We really enjoy the sushi and recommend getting the crab rangoons!“
“My wife and I enjoy coming to Fulin's and having dinner at the bar, which is ideal for close conversations and libations in a quiet, relaxed setting. Also, though not listed as a dinner in the list of choices for this review, the Dragon Roll and others are very tasty.“
“The best sushi and patio in Knoxville, hands down! Beautiful sunset from the patio, amazinggggg half priced sushi days, and a full menu of delicious optionsParking: Shared parking lot for shopping center. Take notice of the one-way parking lanes. There will always be parking, it might just not be right next to the door since they’re in the corner!“
“I ordered through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised! The yellow curry was absolutely delicious! I also had the pork gyoza (pot stickers) and they were pretty good. The crab rangoons could have been so much better if they had been larger in size or quantity.. great flavor, but won’t order those again because of the portion size. That’s the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars.“
“Fresh and delicious sushi/appetizers every visit. The food is very quick to come out for how busy they always are too! Great service, awesome drinks, and the best date night spot to boot!Parking: State Street Garage is right behind them, and there’s a sky bridge you can take right to their front door on the 3rd floor!“
“This place has got me through some hard times (LOL). Whenever I’ve had a rough day or just wanted to treat myself, Tangerine is one of the first places that come to mind. I’ve probably tried every roll here and of course they are ALL delicious.Personal favorite rolls: Spicy Crab, Yellowtail, Pizza, and Tangerine. I appreciate the extra stuff they add sometimes like the cucumbers, citrus, and flowers— it’s very special. The service is always great and there are very nice people who work here.“
