The drinks could've been poured stronger, but we were there for happy hour.They kept the bread coming. “This is a "trendy" place to hang out, have coffee/tea/etc and also a bakery item to eat. They have a large in-house bakery and their items look great, however, they bake everything too long. Everything is overdone, dry and crunchy instead of soft and moist. They don't have any normal drinks like soda or even plain water. It is all sparkling this or hibiscus or elderberry, etc. Outside seating is nice but inside they have large tables to share. People were placing personal items on the table to save the seat for their friends who weren't there so they can hang out. Don't go here for breakfast unless you just want to hang out or feel like you are going to a cool place (except the cool people here are pretty weird, not cool).“
“I highly recommend visiting this little family owned restaurant especially if you've never tried Ethiopian cuisine before.The aroma of the food was incredible as soon as we walked through the door. We had vegetable sambbusa and the combo platter for two and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly and the interior was comfy, clean and welcoming with light jazz playing over the speakers.One thing that I will add is that they might be out of some menu items. “The cookies were very good. If you like chocolate chips in your cookies you’ll get them in abundance here. I like a little more dough but it’s hard to get it juuuust right but I really enjoyed the texture. Either way their chocolate chips are very good. Sugar cookies were good as well but go with the chocolate chip. I had the Twix brownie and I really liked it. Nice mix of flavors and good texture as well. The service was great as well. Plenty of customers were in there and I made a relatively small purchase but all the workers I encountered really interacted well with me and gave good recommendations and were very nice. Price isn’t bad for the quality of treats that I had.“

We wanted pizza and beer this afternoon and randomly picked Sargent Pepper Pizza. The service and food was as good as it gets. Recommend the Buffalo cheese dip as a starter. “If you are missing your granny, Apple Cake Tea Room would be a great place to go and enjoy a yummy lunch while you mull over sweet memories. You're likely to find many patrons of your granny's age there, and it's such a friendly atmosphere that they might even let you join their table if you're feeling especially lonely. The apple kitsch and cutesy decorations are not for everybody (much like the glazed fruit--you either love it or hate it), but the chicken salad, friendship tea, and banana bread sandwiches are worth a visit, and the service is always welcoming and quick. Bran muffins aren't usually a big draw for me, but the mini muffins and sweet cream butter here are a highlight. We always purchase an extra half dozen to go for the next morning's breakfast. The medley is a safe place to start if you aren't sure what's good, but really all the options are pretty much guaranteed to be good. Like everywhere else, prices here have risen sharply, so a lunch for two will cost $45-50 with tip for 2 people. If you come during lunch time, expect to wait, and the waiting area can quickly become crowded. They bus and clean tables quickly, though, so waits are never terribly long.“

“I was hesitant to try Thai food in east TN after not having had it since 2010. It surpassed my expectations. The quality and accuracy of it was fantastic. I also felt welcomed and respected by who I assume to be the owners. I will gladly return. My 5-year old daughter tried Thai food for the first time and loved it. :)“

“We are very appreciative of the wonderful gluten-free goodies from Benefit Your Life. My husband has celiac disease. We have purchased many of the different treats, and they have all been delicious. We are especially fond of the oatmeal cream pies and the buttermilk coconut pie. We met 30 years ago this week, and both ordered coconut pie that night at Peterson’s in Mount Adams in Cincinnati. To celebrate, I ordered a coconut pie from BYL, and it is so so good, and made our celebration special! The hosts ( i was seated by a tall blonde girl) are sweet and mackenzie and Lisa are so nice! The man named Dennis ( i believe is his name) gave me the creeps though. This place does seem to have a high turnover. Always new people everytime i come in. Must be a management issue. The place is clean and i like the outdoor option. We went last night for my daughters birthday and had a really wonderful dinner and the service was so wonderful I wanted to write a review to express my appreciation. “Snappy is our favorite pizza place, and the food is always great, but our experience today just really took the cake. We called in a delivery order for 2 pizzas. When our pizza was delivered, we were confused as to why we only had one. Our delivery driver was very kind in explaining that it seemed there was a communication issue over the phone, and we only got rung up for one pizza. We understood, and didn't think too much of it because stuff happens. Shortly after, we received a text from Matt at Snappy, letting us know that they were going to drive back out to us to bring us the second pizza that we ordered.We've always had good experiences with this location, but the way that they take care of their customers is just above and beyond, and so much appreciated.“

“The manager, Stefan, opened for a Tuesday lunch just for our office staff to enjoy a meal. Most of our staff had never been to Dazzo's and we also have a couple of folks with dietary requirements that he was able to accommodate. The food was prepared fresh upon our arrival. “Went for breakfast this morning because it looked like a local place with a bunch of great reviews.The drink I had tasted a bit weird but I asked and the rum in it was one I had never had before. The bartender said that she never used it because no one ever asked for that drink. (No one's fault I rolled the dice trying something new)I was torn between trying 3 different menu options and the server estimated how big each dish was. I decided on the "Fernando". A bunch of different flavors and fresh ingredients that looked good and tastes fine but it was half the size I was expecting it to be.Also I drink a lot of water and it took a while to get a refill. When I did get a refill, I had ice an inch out of the glass. When I was offered another refill a minute later I asked for the check.Besides the water situation, my service was good and I enjoyed the people that worked there and the atmosphere they were going for.My experience here wasn't bad compared to some places but it wasn't that great. I will come back next time I am in town and give this place another shot.“

“I was instantly greeted by Josh when entering. He helped us with the menu and took our order. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made the experience one of the best that I have ever had. I noticed that he was wiping down tables and doing dishes in between checking on us. “Our visit started out with a 25 minute wait. Apparently it's the standard to "get in line" and "check in" via internet. That means it must be good, right?Drinks came right away. I had coffee, which was good, and the place a carafe on your table to refill your own. My wife's soda was replenished regularly no problem.Our waiter was polite. We did have to ask for flatware after our food arrived.Our meals took about 35 minutes to arrive. My wife ordered the Cobb salad and a fruit bowl, so no cook time required. I ordered "the works" omelet, and seasoned potatoes. Neither were hot but still warm.My wife had no complaints with her order. My omelet was fine, needed salt and pepper but good. The potatoes also needed a little extra but again, were good. They were cut unevenly so the smaller pieces were done, the larger slightly under.The menu had plenty of choices at a reasonable price. Our longer than usual wait was surely due to it being 12:30 on Superbowl Sunday.All in all, I would recommend. We were traveling so hopefully our more local location will be as good.Parking: Plenty of parking as this location is in a strip mall type location.“
