“The ice cream is great! The employees were all polite and they offer samples if you're not sure what you want. I got the pumpkin pie ice cream, and it was delicious. The portions are big for the price. The baked goods looked delicious. Limited indoor seating. If the weather is nice, you'll wanna sit outside anyway. There's plenty of seating outdoors.“
“Our visit to Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant was outstanding from start to finish, thanks to the extraordinary service provided by Jeremy and the friendly gentleman who greeted and seated us. He not only welcomed us warmly but also engaged us in enjoyable banter that set a delightful tone for our visit. Jeremy took it from there, perfectly embodying the restaurant's mission to offer an exceptional customer experience. He went above and beyond, ensuring our meal was delightful and making us feel like family. The food, especially the fritters, was cooked to perfection. It’s clear that the seasoned staff and management at Applewood Farmhouse are committed to living up to their promise of creating great memories for their guests, making everyone feel welcomed and treated like family. We definitely plan to return and bring more friends to share this wonderful experience!“
“Was a great place for breakfast and I loved you could check in a head of time. By the time we arrived, our table was. The fritters were amazing. Everything was really good but my favorite was biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were so good. We ordered the fritters and a large breakfast plate and split it and still took home leftovers. Our waitress was excellent.Parking: They have their own parking at the back of the restaurant. It was pretty full, but still had no issues finding a spot people were coming out which was opening parking.“
“Ate here twice on 1 trip. Inside atmosphere is nice. Outside patio in back is so peaceful with the water and fish among the beautiful flowers. Both times the staff was awesome. Quick, professional, and wonderful southern hospitality. Many are very capable attentive younger servers and they are rock stars on every aspect of their duties. Our world is in good hands for the future with young men and women like these.Clean facility. And not a bad choice on the menu. PLUS delicious baked goods that can be taken home as well! My meals included their chicken salad and fruit plate, and another trip for chicken broccoli Alfredo. Delicious generous portions. The beautiful pottery touches throughout the visit adds to the charm. I have come to the area for about 50 years from Ohio. This one goes on my favorites list.Parking: Hidden small parking lot in back, or the big parking lot at the trolley station. A few pull in spots in front of some of the old mill shops also.Kid-friendliness: Your sweet babies are more than welcome here.Wheelchair accessibility: All 1 level. Stone walkways can be uneven but accessible.“
“First time visitor. Won't be the last. Had the BBQ bacon burger, wife had the chickjita and our child had the tacoverit. Also had the heath and Caramel shake, the smore and banana pudding shake. All the food and desserts were fantastic. Service was top notch.“
“Tucked away in a little corner shop, this family owned deli was a great find! My family and extended family ate here after a day at Dollywood. The food was excellent. The service and care shown by the owners was awesome! I highly recommend!“
“The food was delicious and had large portions. Even the drinks were good too. There was one small hick up with our app not being put in. But that was okay. They were very busy and we got everything else quickly anyway. I would definitely come back again.“
“I'm giving it 5 because they deserve it. However, they do need more staff, especially on weekends. Only 1 girl was work and I felt bed cause there was such a long line. The coffee was amazing and the Chai is the best I've ever had. Such a cute little shop too!“
“Gluten-free crust made in house. Great topping options. Fast and friendly service. Ample parking.Parking: It wasn't a particularly busy night but there was plenty of parking around the restaurant and a large nearby lot for "Mushroom customers." I have only visited once, but it's hard to imagine not finding a spot even on a busy night.“
“Great subway sandwich and great employeesVegetarian options: I got the meat lovers onlegge. Very delicious.Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat eggsKid-friendliness: Kid was screaming in the booth next to me the whole time.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible“
“We ordered the ravioli which was amazing must try if you haven’t eaten or love ravioli. We also ordered the marinara sauce pasta which was fresh but was missing something! But overall the two dishes were fresh and quantity was sufficient for three people“
“Great breakfast place! The best omlett that I ever had! But will not seat you until everyone in your group is physically in the door in front of the hostess.Dietary restrictions: GFParking: Only breakfast place in the area with a very large parking lot.“
“We have family that lives in Canton, North Carolina, so we always stop here on the way home. It's a great place for our toddler to not only eat her fill to make her sleep on the 8-hour drive We're going to embark on, but they let her get her wiggles out. They are accommodating, gracious, and the food is delicious in that " I probably just consume too many calories" kinda way“
“Very surprised by the quality of the cupcakes we tried. Just didn't expect much from a chain bakery, but absolutely the most moist & tasty cake we can remember getting. They have so many different flavors, it's almost overwhelming. Highly recommend.“
“We absolutely love this place! The environment was awesome! Our waitress Samantha was fun and entertaining! We had 2 young kids with us and she was very interactive with them. We over heard that they were short staffed, but we never felt it in our experience! Thanks again Samantha for making it such a great “
“We saw this place today and my husband said “what is that place?? They’re packed!” We decided later to try it out for dinner. My husband seemed skeptical of it beforehand (he always is when trying new places) but as we pulled into the parking lot we both said “well it smells good!!” (You could smell those steaks cooking!) and as we were walking in, he asked the people who were leaving how it was. They said great!!We were seated right away even though they were slammed! We started off with the sampler appetizer and the pickle chips. Everything was awesome and good size portions! The only thing I’ll say is the pickle chips were a bit greasy but the flavor was great!I got the blackberry moonshine margarita and it was so good!! Tasted kind of like a blackberry lemonade. I had to get a 2nd ?For our meals I had the chopped steak and added mushrooms.. SO GOOD! And the BEST green beans I’ve had in a restaurant (or possibly ever)My husband had the sirloin and he said it passed! Lol. He always orders rare and it’s hard for steaks to pass his test. He said it was pretty good and cooked just right!Also- our server was awesome! Kept our drinks full the whole time and had a great attitude.Great first experience, highly recommend!“
“Our daughter LOVED her Eeyore (specifically, classic gray Eeyore, not blue Eeyore) cake! The cake was delicious and super cute! The bakery team was super communicative and helpful, as we were coming from out of town to celebrate a birthday. ❤️❤️❤️“
