“I’ve eaten at JC Holdway many of times over the last 4 years with my last visit being earlier this week. The food has always been delicious but this last visit exceeded expectations. We were so excited to eat we didn’t even get pictures of our food.
Of course the food was fresh and local but all elements of every dish we ate were executed at such high levels it blew my wife and I away. From creativity in plating to salt levels and acidity. Our dinner was phenomenal. Thank you to Chef Lenn and the whole team in the kitchen and at front of house.

What we ate:
Smoked fish dip (ask for extra chips if you run out before your dip is gone)
Pork belly biscuits (must order)

Grilled shrimp (my favorite)
Carrots (could have eaten 2 orders of this)

Chicken (stole the show)
Pork chop (amazing flavor)

Being from Queens, NYC, this is the only place in Tennessee I trust to make a Reuben that reminds me of home. The staff is so incredibly friendly and have remained that way since the 1st time I came in, 10 years ago! EVERYTIME you drive down Sutherland Ave, ask yourself “why haven’t I eaten here yet?!” Then just do it!! It’s worth it!!“

“We went here for our annual office Christmas dinner. The food was incredible- but the service was TOP NOTCH. All the servers were great but our main server Grace was knowledgeable as most of us had never been there before, our guys can get obnoxious and she handled them great and she was on top of everything. We didn’t feel rushed or like we were waiting for anything even though we spent over four hours enjoying our experience. 5 out of 5 stars would def recommend and am going to personally bring family back for celebrations. Great times were had by us all.“

“This place is AWESOME!! From the cleanliness of the place as well as indoor and outdoor seating, courteous staff to the incredible flavors of ice cream, donuts and I especially love the pretzel. The best I've ever had! the ice cream is so creamy and fresh every time I've been there! My whole and extended family love this place and my 16 year old granddaughter says the ice cream is the best she's ever had...and that's saying something! “I do recommend Cava and was only given the option to recommend or not recommend. BUT it would be helpful if they would post updated hours when closing early (which I have ran into on multiple occasions) to their website or social media platforms. There have also been occasions where they stopped online orders early and were out of ingredients when we went in store close to closing. But overall I do love having food from here. It is delicious and easy to pick up even until the 9 o’clock hour- usually.“

“stopped in for a quick snack while getting tires changed and oh man. I had a gyro with a baklava, first bite had me hooked. hands down some of the best flavor in blount county. The gyro had me stuffed, but that first bite of baklava 🤤 so light, and crispy the perfect dessert to compliment the flavor profile. going to make this a regular stop.“

“Delivery is usually rocking, but not today. I’ll usually give a little slack when the order’s not right but I think you would want to know how your food is being represented. I ordered my favorite, the Farmhouse Hash. Maybe I’m being picky but I’m only comparing it to the same meals I’ve had before, which were excellent. First, either Avocado’s have shrunk to the size of a Kumquat or the cook could care less about what this meal would taste like. I got 4 pieces of avocado about an inch big. And they still had the peel on them. Second, I ordered Sour Dough as opposed to wheat because of nutrition guidelines I have to keep. I got wheat anyway, which was very tempting. My eggs were fried, not basted. I got cheddar cheese instead of goat cheese. We also received smucker’s packets instead of the home made jam, that we expected. So it just boils down to the quality for the price. I basically paid $30 for my meal. I don’t mind paying restaurant prices but I also expect better than fast-food. One more thing I would like your business to think about. I am a disabled, immune-compromised customer. I order delivery more than the average customer for health reasons. I don’t appreciate the lack of consideration from your kitchen staff. Just because I’m not there to ask the server to correct my order, does not mean it’s ok to slack off on your duties. It more than likely was oversight but still, I felt you needed to know what was going on. I do hesitate now, to order from First Watch. I’m just not sure I’ll get what I expect.“

“really good pizza. got the margarita add italian sausage, the toppings are great. I would ask for extra mozzarella on the marg. you can tell the ingredients are very high quality, although you might want to get double meat or whatever topping if you like it covered. crust was very good it was traditional hand tossed. everything is made to a very high standard. the employees do such a good job but they creepily smile at you. It's like they are forced to have an ear to ear smile. I fear for their working conditions. foods fire tho“

“Came here for the first time today with friends and there were 4 kids with us, ages ranging between 4-9. The owner and staff were so unbelievably kind and good to us and our kids. It was such a great experience. The kids sat at the front counter looking at the jelly fish lights and talking to the staff who all were so wonderful to the kids. Even took them to play some of the games they had there at one point. Besides this, the food was absolutely delicious! This is definitely our new spot to come for great pizza!“
