“First time eating there. Read Grubhub article in paper. He was wrong in his rating, it's a 5! For anyone really serious about Korean/Japanese fine cooking KOKO is a must. It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.“

“Quite frankly & straight to the point, for years I only went to another local Knoxville sushi spot that had half price sushi nights. Then my husband introduced me to Tangerine & it's the only place I happily go to & pay full price. The employees are the nicest ever! The food is great! The hot dishes are always piping hot & the sushi is great! We go at least once a month, if not more often. Presentation is always on point.“

“Kabuki Restaurant is where you need to go for Japanese food in Knoxville (in Market Square). You know it’s going to be good when the staff are speaking Japanese, unlike a place down the street! “Tokyo is definitely a good go to for your basic hibachi/sushi style of restaurant. The staff is always really nice. According to my wife the sushi is great. I usually get the chicken/shrimp and fried rice. Highly recommend visiting this hotspot off Northshore drive if you haven't already.“

“I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for this restaurant. We love it! They are not Japanese, they are Cantonese Malaysian.

We get a whole roast duck usually takeout and on weekends they have crispy roast pork.

They just introduced dim sum.

Beef chow fun is solid.“

“I’ve been going to Tokyo & Mandarin since I was about 5 years old . I’m now 16. This is definitely a very calm environment and I love that. The service and food is always amazing! My sister and I go often. They’ve never disappointed. I wish they still had hibachi on Sunday but I understand understaffing. The family that runs it is always so polite and hospitable. The waitress that is there every single day is the sweetest woman and amazing at her job! 100/10 recommend.“
