“When I told my foodie friends I was coming to Knoxville, this was one of the first suggestions everyone mentioned for something upscale. It did not disappoint.

I tried the whiskey flight and honestly each one was excellent. I decided to get a small plate and entree. I went with the little gyro tacos and they were great for something to start. Main course was the short rib and oh man… melted in my mouth so delicious. Definitely worth going. A little pricey but worth it.“

“Coming through town for a night and didn't expect much from a mall stand. What a truly pleasant surprise! Great lunch deal, quality and delicious gyro, solid fries. The tzatziki sauce was a little thinner than I prefer, but had the perfect flavor. Definitely worth checking them out.“

“Came here to eat after Firehouse Subs closed 12 minutes early. I walked in to Yassin's 5 mins before close and said, "are y'all still taking orders, if not I understand". She politely said, "of course" and took my order. We ate outside and they even gave me extra sauce after they closed, when I saw a worker going back inside and asked him if I could trouble him for some. AMAZING service, thanks so much! “Cava has a great variety of items to select from. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. You can build your own bowl with fresh ingredients. However if you know what authentic falafel tastes like skip their falafel.“

“It's the best Mediterranean food around. I finally tried it today and Matt the owner is just the kindest person as well as providing amazing food. The grapes leaves were wonderful and the gyro was exceptional. Tons of meat with just the right amount of tzaziki sauce, cucumber and tomato. BUT the PITA BREAD, OH MY next level tender and flavourful. Can't wait to go back again.“

“A step above Chipotle. Get more, pay less. Good seating arrangement. Line out the door likely, I suspect weekend, sports event and during lunchtimes. Good quality vegan meal also if on a road trip coming through, plus gluten free is a bonus.“

“I always order a Reuben combo and this is by far the best Reuben sandwich I have tasted in Knoxville! The owner is super kind and nice and knows me for ordering Reuben’s whenever I come into the restaurant to order. The bathroom and restaurant ate really clean and tidy. Nothing to worry about stepping on while dining in or sticky floors, none of that! I’m always happy to come eat here. The menu is fantastic~ I have also tried the bacon cheeseburgers. The fries are actual crinkle fries and don’t taste too starchy. Crispy and hot 100% Fresh ingredients. It’s not usually crowded either.“

“We had the falafel gyros with a side of red potatoes. We eat plant based and that can mean limited choice and a lot of repeats but this was fresh and different. We will definitely stop in when in Knoxville. Also the staff are friendly and polite and the restaurant was spotless.

Vegetarian options: Two kinds of hummus, veggies, roasted red potatoes, cucumber and tomato salad,falafel,fruit and lots of salads.“
