I celebrated my 38th birthday today with my family at Cafe 4 for a little brunch action before dinner later and Kayden was the highlight of my day. So kind, so genuine so thoughtful overall great service. Food was excellent and the outside patio was delightful. I definitely recommend and will most certainly be back. “When I told my foodie friends I was coming to Knoxville, this was one of the first suggestions everyone mentioned for something upscale. It did not disappoint.

I tried the whiskey flight and honestly each one was excellent. I decided to get a small plate and entree. I went with the little gyro tacos and they were great for something to start. Main course was the short rib and oh man… melted in my mouth so delicious. Definitely worth going. A little pricey but worth it.“

“The Oak Room has by far the highest quality whiskey cocktails I’ve found in the Knoxville area, or Tennessee for that matter. And though their menu is somewhat limited the food quality and taste are beyond expectation for flavor and presentation. Whatever you do, don’t skip on the cheese tray. Cheers!“

“My wife and I were in Knoxville for a conference, and we ate at the Downtown location for dinner on Friday, then again for brunch on Sunday. Both times were terrific! On Friday, we shared the crab cake hushpuppies and beet salad for appetizers, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The crab cakes were like biting into the 8th wonder of the world--Wow! For the entrée, we had the filet mignon was cooked to perfection! Our server was an absolute delight! For brunch, we had the Appalachian shrimp & grits which had such a wonderfully rustic/earthy flavor, and the butcher's omelet which was so fluffy, fresh, and flavorful. The side of fruit could not have been any fresher! The thing that drove us back to the restaurant 'might' have been the Blueberry Basil Margarita. The non-alcoholic version was just as good if not better than the alcoholic version! The blueberry puree was truly the star. We will be sure to visit the next time we're in Knoxville!“

I usually find it difficult to find good food on a pinch, given my dietary restrictions, but they had a lot of FANTASTIC vegan options for me to choose from. I highly reccomend the vegan sandwich and trying their vegan cookies!

My food was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh. The tomato head is by far the best restaurant I've had the honor of eating at.
