“Food was delicious. This was my first time there. I almost missed the restaurant as it looks like a dealership but once there, I was not disappointed. The server was great and I requested that my swordfish not be over cooked. It was exactly as it should be moist and oh so delicious. It was a thick steak and I couldn't have been more satisfied. So, if it's seafood or delicious fish you are looking for, this is the place to visit.“
“First-time customer, the staff was very friendly and personable, the food was cooked to my liking, the atmosphere pleasant as well. Will I will definitely be back. Thanks to my long-time friend Todd for buying my lunch. Next ones on me, brother.“
“This was our first time visiting STOR and we were very impressed! We made a reservation 10 minutes ahead of time, for a Friday night this was shocking, when we arrived we were sat immediately. Ordered the bao sliders which we were not impressed with and the manager was kind enough to refund. We ordered the filet with goat cheese ravioli which was AHmazing and the center cut filet with crispy potatoes which was also delicious. Definitely will return.“
“The best catfish I've had in years. My companion about licked their plate clean. Great tunes playing. Very friendly staff. The food is made to order, so expect to wait for it. Well worth the wait. If you are ANYWHERE nearby, make the time to go eat here. A special thank you to Chef Blaac. That man is making his family proud with his cookin'. His friendliness and welcoming demeanor can't be beat.Yes, we will be eating here more.“
“Came here for a low key birthday celebration with a few others. It was my first visit, but I was pleased at the ambiance. Noise level was perfect, lighting was spot on, and service was great.Had the wood grilled Mahi and loved it with a lemon butter sauce. It was flaky and cooked expertly. The shrimp skewers were great. The drinks could've been poured stronger, but we were there for happy hour. They kept the bread coming. Think we had four loaves between us all.Bang bang shrimp is apparently their staple appetizer, and it was perfect! Great heat and some good twang.Loved the strawberry basil brownie! So good.I'll definitely be back.“
“A nice place. Virtually almost nothing for vegetarians and the one thing I tried the pasta dish - spaghetti with parmesan was not any good. It was just so sopping saturated with Parmesan that just really wasn't enjoyable at all and didn't have a good texture. My friend loved the trout though and said that it was excellent. She also loved the IPA, but I thought it was humorous that it came in a can and they made a big deal of pouring it in a very fancy flourish to allow the vapors to volatilize.Vegetarian options: There is nothing there for a vegetarian at all that is edible or at least enjoyable if you can choke it down. So if you're a vegetarian and you go with others who are not, forget it. Best to go go somewhere else where everyone can have a good dinner.“
“What's not to like great people and awesome food very attentive towards everyone at the tableKid-friendliness: Nothing but smiles when it came down to the kids they loved it and the waiters and waitresses would stop and answer the kids questions when they said excuse me can I ask you a question it was awesome.“
“Love this place!! Food is excellent, we got two unlimited options and two bottles of wine and it was only $131! What an awesome deal! Service was outstanding, Ryan took excellent care of us! Can’t wait to come back and bring all our friends!!“
“Staff was friendly and attentive but not over-bearing. We were seated quickly. Food was typical Americanized Mexican, though they had a couple of traditional dishes on the menu too. Nothing I got to eat was special. However, their peach margarita was delish!“
“Fine dining at its best. The food was perfection. The 20 ounce bone in rib eye was well seasoned, was cooked as ordered. It arrived at the table hot and delicious. Also had the grilled asparagus and lobster mashed potatoes, both were excellent and arrived at the table piping hot. For desert had the banana fosters bread pudding. A wonderful end to a fantastic meal.Be warned the place is pricey. A great place for a special occasion.“
“One of my favorite places in Knoxville! Drinks are great, servis is terrific and the food is good (not great but good). I stop here every time I'm in town. Sit at the bar, get some drinks and a small bite to eat... you won't regret it.“
“Great meal tonight. Cheese dip was great, salsa bar is still awesome and our server was amazing. Might be my new favorite north Knox Mexican joint!Original review: Had chicken fajitas and enjoyed it. Love the salsa bar. Cheese dip was bland, lacked any flavor.Service was slow, even though restuarant wasnt busy. Had to ask for refills, to place order and to get check. Table we had was broken as well.“
“We went for one of those financial info dinners where we were starved for over an hour before our food was served (not the restaurants fault). My steak was VERY tender and yummy except for one streak of tough gristle that ran through it (I would have taken issue with that if I'd actually paid for that meal!). Overall the food experience was wonderful. We will consider going back for a regular dinner in the future.Parking: The handicap parking was limited and some spots were strung out a ways from the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: You have to pay attention from the parking lot to go around to the ramp entry if that is needed. There is an elevator available if you need to go downstairs.“
“I started visiting Firebird's for their meat loaf and they took that off the menu, so I started ordering the Cilantro Chicken and now it's part of a 3-course meal, and I don't need that much food, so last night was a very good burger. I've been very critical of the service at this Firebird's over the years, but we had Jaycie last night and she did an excellent job. One of the mangers even stopped by our table and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. My wife loves their Salmon salad, and she said it was good as always. With the menu changes, I'm not sure how many visits to Firebird's is in our future. I might try one of the pasta dishes.“
“The food was phenomenal. The seafood bread will knock your socks off. Our waitress was decent but once we got our food we didn't see her again. The only thing that I didn't love was the ambiance, they have "decorated" every surface in the restaurant by allowing people to write as they please all over everything with a sharpie. Made it feel unclean“
“Went in there and they weren't busy, probably around 6:00, the Knoxville area is definitely missing out by not going here where I'd like to see much busier, they have fresh seafood and they are able to cook it there as well, I will be back.“
“One of our faves when in town. Attentive and knowledgeable server answered our questions about the menu and recommended a wonderful wine to go with our dinner selections. We ate a beef stroganoff special, curried cauliflower risotto and filet. All were wonderful. We were very happy that we saved room for dessert and ordered the caramel cake, key lime pie and Basque cheesecake. Definitely recommend! Next time will start with the charcuterie, which sounded very interesting but would not have allowed us to have room for the wonderful desserts.“
“It's a Mexican Seafood restaurant based mostly on the Pacific cuisine of the Mexican state of Nayarit. Lots of fresh lime ceviche choices along with other delicious seafood including shrimp, langostinos, tilapia, snapper, crab legs, lobster, octopus... The portions are good size to huge depending on what you get but the images in the menu don't do the actual food justice. It's rare the food looks better than the photos, but it does here. My only warning to folks who want to dine here would be that the language barrier is strong. I haven't met any good English speakers working there yet and outside of pointing to items you want on the menu, asking for a substitution or any other questions are not easy unless you use Google translate or are fluent or are with someone fluent in Spanish. It doesn't stop us from going back but it can be something to consider.Parking: It's in an old Perkins restaurant so the parking is exactly as it was but the entrance is now on the Kingston Pike side since the bar is where the typical entrance would have been previously.“
“Sampler dip was great! Chorizo is some of the best, cheese dip great, guacamole so so could loose rhe onion!ACP is good as well as the talopia! Salsa is to chunky for my liking, bit has flavor!!!Our server is probably one of the best experiences I have had. Very nice, complimentary, and very attentive! Her name is Maria! Very sweet ladyNot to mention the specials for margaritas!!!!Ok Dos Agaves thanks for taking care of my husband and I.“
“I don't know what took us so long to get to this restaurant. However, the wait was totally worth it! I have to say it's probably one of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life, and I know good food! We ordered half of the menu. OK that might be an exaggeration. However, we ordered raw oysters, the oysters Rockefeller, tuna tartar, crabcake, carpaccio, prime rib, fillet, and the New York strip. Every bite, every morsel of food that I put in my mouth was not just good. It was exceptional. Our waitress was awesome and took incredible care of us. We had an amazing experience, and I cannot wait to go back.“
“Nice chain restaurant, as expected. Service was lackluster and over confident while not actually providing required service. Allergies were not taken as seriously as they should have been, and were almost devastating, if I hadn't noticed my allergen in what was brought. Drinks ordered before dinner sat at the bar while we waited and finished our food. Food was good and prepared as needed.Dietary restrictions: If your allergy is not a common one, make sure the server gets the kitchen involved so that you are kept safe.“
“This place is just as good as any place at the beach. The food is fresh. Amazing taste. They have great cooks. The staff is very knowledgeable about the seafood. You get large portions on the plates. The restaurant use the seafood from there market. Get alot of food for the price.“
“Maddie was our waitress. She was friendly, polite, very knowledgeable about the menu, and engaged in delightful conversation with us. Our dialogue continued not only at the beginning of the meal but through the end even when she brought our check. Thank you Maddie for making this a very pleasant dining experience. It was fun.“
“Food and service were excellent! Big lunch time specials at great prices. I had the Favorite Burrito which was delicious. Everyone in our group commented on how good the food was. We’ll definitely be back when in Knoxville. Great job Soccer Taco!“
“Everything was absolutely fresh. Not one wilted corner, not 1 piece of veg. That wasn't crispy where the consistency of fresh Gabriel gabriel was fantastic, cordial, knowledgeable clean. It was only by accident that I discovered This place amongst hundreds of other tiny little places. Telegraph, for grubhub, I'm in there just very impressed without cleaning immediately. Dreimmediately drew my eyes over to the salad bar which they make the food. And I instantly wanted to try so you're absolutely fantastic .... I just want to say thanks again to the staff over there, Gabriel The place was really clean, which is so important when you're dealing with seafood. Produce.... And the public in and out the floors were clean counters were clean.... And again the food was absolutely top notch“
“Alec was our server today as we came to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. Food was great but his service and interaction with all of us was top of the line. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: We were able to order kid meal as soon as we were seated to get it first.“
“Holy moly this place knocked it out of the park!! I ordered the seafood platter my man ordered the chimichanga and let me say it knocked our Sox off!!! Flavor was amazing, portion was oversized, temperature of food was perfect friendliness of staff was great!! Seafood price was market $46-50 we had two beers each and his meal total bill was right at $100 perfect night out!!“
“I’ve been going to Panda Garden since I moved to Knoxville from New York around 16 years ago. If you want authentic NY style Chinese food, you go here. This is seriously the only place in town you can get a decent egg roll. A lot of people complaining about the staff, but I’ve never had an issue, plus I normally do take out. I honestly prefer a less personal dining experience though. This is a hole in the wall Chinese takeout place, and it’s the by far the best. Not meant to be fine dining by any means. So if you’re used to eating that kind of Asian food, you’re not gonna appreciate the traditional and authentic street food taste they offer that I grew up eating. If I were famous and lived in another state, this would be my haunt back home. Favorite restaurant in Knoxville since I was 15.“
“Being the only one that is still open. Located on Western Ave in Knoxville, TN. It is a great place to eat fish. The atmosphere is great for family dinning in the, restaurant. The service is prompt and courteous to their customers. Recommend to drop in and order your food.“
“Greetings earthlings. I stop in here from time to time when I'm having a rough day because hush puppies are a comfort food for me. I purchused some fish with sides so I wouldn't disturb the nice staff by being a weirdo eating a giant plate of hush puppies by himself on a Tuesday. I did not have the energy to defend accusations of being a space alien, even though hush puppies are completely appropriate human food! I was enjoying my lunch among the PITIFUL HUMANS. The human staff was very polite and helpful. I liked the human person at the cash register's glass frames and green shirt. I was still hungry when I got done eating the standard sized earth meal and the fountain soda pop drink. I went up to the cashier's stand to order a dessert, a piece of pie perhaps. The human staff member from before said thank you and have a nice day, but I did not realize they were talking to me, as I was not leaving. I assumed they were communicating on their cell phone telephone or perhaps addressing a ghost. I looked over the menu but I could not find pie. Do I have false memory syndrome? I swear Captain D's used to have pie. I asked the polite human if she would recommend the slice of cheesecake or the fried funnel cake sticks. The human recommended me the fried funnel cake sticks. Suspicious that it might be an Earthling trap I tried them carefully and they were indeed acceptable food stuff. However, my thirst for pie remains. Cease hiding your pie, earthlings! Surrender your pie secrets to me! Resistance is a mild inconvenience!“
“I'm not surprised to see lots of nice reviews about the manager here. We came in less than an hour before closing and the manager was extremely kind and welcoming. He made sure that we got hot and fresh food. This meant a lot to us, because dietary restrictions (pescatarian) keep us from being able to eat at a lot of fast food places. Thanks for making our evening with your warm food and hospitality! We'll definitely be back soon.“
“Our server was super attentive, friendly, and always smiling. She made it a great experience. The food was nice and hot when it arrived and everything tasted great. We had a variety of foods at our table and there were no issues with anything.“
“We went to the bar to wait for our reservation time. We asked the women bartender if it was happy hour and she replied it was. So we ordered drinks. When our table was ready, we paid our tab, and we were charged regular price for our drinks. We brought it to her attention that she charged us regular price for our drinks. She replied that our order was not on the happy hour menu. We'll it would of been nice if she brought it to or attention when we inquired about happy hour. She was also not very friendly. This will be the last time visiting the bar at Connors. I think we will stick to the Chop House over Connors.“
