We stopped by the Captain D’s on Kingston Pike yesterday while shopping & was the worst experience we’ve ever had. First, my husband ordered the meal with the 24 fried shrimp & fish; he counted 8; he also ordered the butterfly shrimp add-on which would expect to be on the plate & since it came in a box,
Great menus and good prices, the food was very good and fresh !
I had a craving for Captain D’s. I have not eaten at one in years! Everything was hot and fresh! I made a great choice checking it out again.

Captain D's is a restaurant that provides a pleasant dining experience for its customers. The friendly staff, particularly the manager, strive to ensure exceptional service, even when there are occasional order mix-ups. The manager's hospitality and attention to dietary requirements are highly valued by customers, encouraging them to return for more hot and fresh meals.
The recently added reviews highlight both positive and negative aspects of the restaurant. While one customer was pleased with the freshness and taste of the food, including the fried oysters and grilled fish, another customer had concerns about the order accuracy and the lack of unsweetened tea options. The cashier's excellent customer service, however, was praised by another customer, who appreciated the cashier's suggestions and prompt response to the tea issue.
Overall, Captain D's aims to provide a satisfying dining experience, with a focus on fresh, tasty food and attentive customer service.
