“My wife and I stopped in for lunch after reading dozens of great reviews. We both ordered Carne Asada tacos. Our waiter, who was absolutely awesome, brought us both 3 tacos "stuffed" full of meat, rice and beans on the side. I have to say, they were great. I ate all of mine, but was stuffed when we left. My wife could only finish one of her tacos and brought the other two home. El Manzanillo gave us plenty of chips and salsa, refills on our tea without asking, huge entree portions and plenty of rice and beans. This is by far the best Mexican food in Murphy. As others have said, " don't let the strip mall location fool you, this is a diamond in the rough." Great food, generous portions and great customer service! We will definitely be back soon.“
“Pretty good little spot, food choice is pretty standard as Chinese Buffets go but it’s actually pretty good especially for the price. The folks working there are very nice and they keep the place clean. Would recommend for something quick or to go.“
“This is a fast-food restaurant. Foods are fried, and the seafood is not considered Fresh Seafood. Staff was pleasant and very efficient. Will return when I want this type of seafood.Kid-friendliness: Inside is very casual and is a good place for kids. The dining area is a little bit small. Baked potato is ok. Of course, they are not super fresh tasting, but ok.Several combinations of seafood can be ordered.“
“Food is very good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is calm with nice art hanging about and the place is clean. DowntownMurphy is fun and walkable with the typical assortment of cafes, gift shops, and historic buildings. I had their take on a Cuban sandwich with sweet potatoefries - both were good. My wife had the salmon and broccoli and she stated it was delicious. Server was friendly and present. It's our third visit and we'll be back.“
“We ate lunch here for a 3rd time over the years. Service and food has improved. Seems bit pricey. I had a house salad with bleu cheese dressing and added the grilled shrimp. The hubby had fried shrimp, seasoned fries and very creamy grits. It’s a very open and often loud dining room but all-in-all a nice lunch.“
