I'm not a fish fan, I know why eat here? They do have alright chicken tenders. I think their tenders are better than bojangles. Can't go wrong with some tenders, fries, n hushpuppies.
October 30th 2022, I stopped at Captain D's on Chapman Highway and I ordered the cat fish platter came with three sides and hush puppies. For my sides I ordered 2 orders of extra well done okra & mac and cheese. Well needless to say my okra was barely cooked at all the mac and cheese wasn't good at all. I don't understand they have you sit there and wait inline supposedly cooking your food and you get it and it's practically raw what is up.? Try calling them several times but...read full review

The food tasted okay but the portion was very sad. I really love the taste of their fish so I was sad when the size of the big meal I paid for was so small. The hushpuppies used to taste so good and they're not that good anymore. They totally made a good portion size with macaroni and the corn is always good.
