Fabulous euro-vibe with Mediterranean wines and dishes.
Just like the Vault cocktail bar below, in the old bank vault Vida is a great place to enjoy dinner and drinks or just small plates to share. Very well thought out menu of many Latin dishes with a twist. Beautiful atmosphere, great service and very good food. The location is on the street level of the Holston residential building which is one of the tallest landmarks in our downtown area. It was built in 1913 I believe, so a lot of history. Vida is a highly recommended restaurant for a delightful dining experience with friends and family. Offering delicious and fantastic food, it’s a great spot for creative, elevated meals and fun cocktails. Standout menu items include empanadas, tamales, and churros. The steak medallions and Surf and Turf were phenomenal. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and cozy, perfect for a date night or a night out. The decor features beautiful touches like pebbled blue velvet cushions, creating an inviting and stylish environment that matches the care and thoughtfulness put into the food. The service was outstanding, with the manager being attentive and making guests feel welcome. Bartenders were knowledgeable and fast, recommending perfect cocktails like the Mexican Monk. The deal of cocktail and 2 tacos for $15 M-F 4-6 PM is a great value. Guests will certainly be back for the flavorful food, balanced cocktails, and lovely surroundings.
