I DO have an issue with only having 1 employee working a retail business, and I’m not even talking about the customer service implications. It’s the safety of the workers. I would think if 2 people are supposed to to work and somebody calls out, the franchise owner comes in, or the location needs to be closed due to staffing issues. The safety of your employees is the most important thing. No exceptions. Do better, Subway. Just trying to save a buck and putting people in danger to do so. The Dominos in Powell has a franchise owner that comes in when they are short staffed, like a good leader should.“

“The sub artist working was working her butt off even in the midst of a pretty busy shift and hearing that a new hire walked out on her during shift. She repeatedly apologized for it taking a bit longer on mone and my friends order but she was working so hard you had to respect it and didnt mind waiting a little longer with what she was dealing with by herself. “I work over at first horizon next door and I go there for lunch from time to time. Today I was greeted by Les and I really appreciated his service. He made my sandwich with care and made sure ingredients were spread apart and it was made well. When I put on the sauce he said it recommends to put it on first but I can have my sub however I liked it so I appreciate that. He asked if I wanted a meal which I accepted and also offered me to sign up for rewards so I did that as well. Then the starry was out and I let him know and they got it fixed for me and I just appreciate the service enough to leave a good review for him.“

“My friend and I went to the Subway on Lovell Ave (DO NOT GO) and the person working there took 20 minutes to make our food, asking what we wanted on them at least 6 times, and had dirt caked on his hands and fingernails. There was dirt on our cups and bags, and we were extremely disgusted. We had no idea what to do because we knew he wasn’t going to be helpful. I’m pretty sure he was in another world lol.
So we drove to this location. Noah helped us out. We explained the situation and he immediately remade our sandwiches free of charge. He was super nice, chatting with us and the sandwiches were perfect. We can’t thank him enough after the stressful situation at the other location. “I visited this location for lunch today and the most amazing pay it forward happened to me a guy was sitting in the lobby working on his computer and I don't know if he was the owner or the Manager of the store but he absolutely made my day after my sandwich was made and I was about to pay for it he got up and paid for my foot long combo meal without any hesitation I thanked him for his kindness and generosity this has never happened to me and I wanted to share this with everyone who reads reviews. “This is one of the cleanest subways in south Knox. They are a bit under staffed but seems to be the normal thing these days everywhere. Each worker ,works their bottoms off . I think if the company would keep the stores equipment updated more ..it'd prob help and if the company it's self would hire people and send them to stores that's only got 2 or 3 workers that'd help also . I love the flavor of the new meat they have,everything seems stocked well everytime im there. Those workers get the job done even tho I've seem them treated very poorly by customers. It's like some customers seem to.forget these are people.also, so I try to keep that in my mind when im anywhere. These same 2 woman. Are ALWAYS here no matter the time of day . So just be understanding when going In places these days after covid ...besides its not a Ruth Chris steak house its SUBWAY people ..lol

All told, after the line and the time to make our order, our receipt listed the time as 5:17p. This is the only hangup at this location... the wait time. Otherwise, it is an excellent Subway shop.“

“I simply had to change my review today. The guys working today were beyond incredible. The service was not as quick I would have liked, but I think the one guy was new. So I'll overlook it. I asked him his name and please if he sees this and I mispell it, don't get mad, but jovan was super kind and greeted us all the way from the counter on the far side of restaurant. The Hispanic guy was also amazing! Last time was a mess and the vegetables were nasty, but this time (though getting low) they were busy and the food was fresh looking!!!! There was another small guy seeming to guide the process and rung us out, but couldn't catch his name. He was super friendly and I couldn't tell if he was the manager or higher up because he was direct and focused all while maintaining calm composure and made even the slow parts seemless. Ezekiel took a large order from me the night before I needed to pick it up. When I came to pick it up on Saturday a little early, expecting it to NOT be ready, Jessica told me that not only was it ready 30 minutes early, but she had boxed it all up for me and it was ready to go. When we got to our event, the presentation was excellent, clean, napkins, condiments, and the bread was VERY fresh. I LOVE it when people surprise me, and they did just that.
