“This is definitely one of my favorite local coffee shops! The customer service has always been amazing, whether you go there to study, or meet a friend, the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing, their coffees are very smooth in taste, and their pastries are excellent! Definitely recommend this place! ?“
“What an amazing treasure to find! The doughnuts are unbelievably good but they have so much more than doughnuts. Bagels, Buscuits, and so much more! We had a large order put in the day before and it was ready on time the next morning. The bread is so fluffy but with a great crust. You have to try it.“
“This has become our favorite coffee shop. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming! Absolutely love trying all of the specials that they come up with for the different. Hard to say what I would call a favorite because you would have to find a favorite from each special list! But when in doubt, the s'mores is never a bad choice. The breakfast options are also very good and fresh. Have tried a burrito, which was really good, but tend to learn to the lemon bars!“
“We hosted our event at Common Place tonight and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was cozy yet spacious… like we were in a home, but with plenty of parking and room for a larger group. The coffee and pastries are amazing too!Kid-friendliness: There are board games that kids can play while adults meet.“
“We enjoyed all of the food we got!!! We got the special which was sausage egg and cheese biscuit with double cheddar on a garlic biscuit, 1 plain bacon egg and cheddar biscuit, 1 plain butter and strawberry jam, and 1 plain honey butter biscuit and I'll just say that was the best biscuits I've had in a long time. The biscuits were similar to the consistency of cornbread but fluffier. My boyfriend absolutely loved the coffee. The place was small nice and quaint and we will definitely be visiting again. There was only one person working but he was Maning the kitchen amazingly all while making everyone that came in feel welcome and like they were his friends. Thanks for everything today!!!“
“Today was my 1st time at Blossom Bowls. The young woman who helped me was super knowledgeable and so so sweet. She was efficient as she was juggling drive through orders as well as in store. Love my bowl! Will definitely be back to try more!“
“The food was all incredible! We tried the frituras, tripletas sandwich, guava pastelillo, crispy pork mofongo, and cafe con leche. Everything came out better than the last.Service was super friendly from Millie’s granddaughter and the atmosphere was fantastic. We left wondering who would give this place anything less than 5 stars.“
“Food here is super fresh here! I love it. I never get any bad fruit. Customer service is great. Alex is the man! Always gets my order right and has my food ready by the time I get there . I can’t say enough good stuff about Everbowl. 20/10“
“Holds to the high quality K-Brew standards of coffee and service. They have cute decor modeled after the original store on N Broadway. Their main problem is simply atmosphere as it's normally loud and crowded. And their tea is ridiculously expensive!“
“Such a cool spot to hang out and meet good people! Super chill vibe and delicious, quality kava and kratom! Great place to crack open a book or strike up a game of pool with friends! There is a little something for everyone ?. Doggo friendly!“
“This is a tiny place with a few bar seats and couches. The decor is very new age, with chakra posters and fliers for holistic events like sound baths and reiki covering the walls. The person behind the bar provided some guidance on the menu and we ended up trying two mocktails with kraton, both of us enjoying our beverages while we watched people across the room layout a tarot spread and carefully consider the cards' message.“
“I've been twice now. Had the sweet heat chicken and waffles with strawberries. It was delicious. Service was good. You can sit outside, which we did and that was fun. The prices are a little higher than, say, cracker barrel, but absolutely worth every penny!“
“Wow, what a gem this spot is! Let me begin with the service, Danielle, unbelievable! Southern hospitality, outstanding attitude and efficient! The restaurant business as a whole has declining service...but not here! Every person at Holly's was smiling and seemed to love their jobs! Food, yum! My entire party loved their meals! I had a great salmon bagel! Prices are very reasonable! Today was a nice spring day so we enjoyed the patio! This is a must for a great breakfast or brunch!“
“Butter Bacon Bourbon Burger. Need I say more? Oh my! I am still talking about it and remembering , by far, this is the best burger I can remember eating. A juicy well cooked burger with so many delicious toppings. A bit messy to eat but it's so worth having to wash your hands after eating it. ? Just enjoy every morsel.“
“Coziest coffee shop nestled right near downtown Knoxville!! One of my favorite coffee shops in the area: close to downtown, great prices, adorable little shop. Sit and chat for a while there then stop by the bookstore nearby for a quaint afternoon in Sequoyah Hills!“
“Best donuts in Knoxville, if you love simple but incredibly well made, no nonsense donuts then this is the place for you. Both cake and yeast donuts. They are extra large, so a half-dozen donuts will come in the typical dozen donuts size box. Excellent espresso drinks, as well.“
“What sweet staff they have in here!! So helpful. I ordered a tuna melt on white and it's amazing!! Cheeseburger is so tasty and done perfectly. But let me tell you about the lemon pie! To die for! Homemade ? pie is my favorite ever! Sad I missed breakfast but I bet the biscuits were delicious. Wish we were staying in town longer so we could come back!! ?“
“This is a "trendy" place to hang out, have coffee/tea/etc and also a bakery item to eat. They have a large in-house bakery and their items look great, however, they bake everything too long. Everything is overdone, dry and crunchy instead of soft and moist. They don't have any normal drinks like soda or even plain water. It is all sparkling this or hibiscus or elderberry, etc. Outside seating is nice but inside they have large tables to share. People were placing personal items on the table to save the seat for their friends who weren't there so they can hang out. Don't go here for breakfast unless you just want to hang out or feel like you are going to a cool place (except the cool people here are pretty weird, not cool).“
“This place was a great experience! The staff seemed lovely to talk to and was quite enthusiastic while giving recommendations. The coffee I had was rich with a sweet aftertaste which I really enjoyed. Right next to a grocery store, so perfect excuse to get coffee after grocery shopping. The theme of capybara was also quite “
“Very yummy blueberry fritter! I had to ask the ladies running the store today to let me loiter for a couple hours since uhaul (next door) had no waiting room for a 2 hour service and Beaver Dough-Joe was kind enough to let me stay and have a seat inside in the heat! I'll come back just for the kind gesture but the donuts are even more incentive! ?“
“The employees here have to be the friendliest baristas I’ve ever encountered! Their energy and kindness really brightened my morning. Additionally, my latte was absolutely delicious! I wouldn’t consider myself a connoisseur, but I can say that whatever espresso they’re using is delightful. I’m stopping back by any time I’m in Knoxville!“
“Doughnuts are off the hook delicious. Took 2 dozen to our employees who said some of the best they have had! Came by at 6:30 am knowing lines get long later in the morning. Person working the counter was very courteous and quick. Will be back!!!!!“
“I love Scooter’s Coffee. I come by a couple times a week on my way to work and usually get a Cappuccino. Cappuccino’s here are very good. Creamy and not bitter or overly sweet. The cups are so cute! I love that the cups are cute year round and not just for the holidays.Customer service is quick and efficient as well as professional and kind.“
“Got little issues with unloading guy bout broke the seal before he comes out witness ? but lucky that the plant manager is a understandable and cool guy , he’s come out spoked with me and double check seal , everything is matched with BOL so he let me back into docked ?????? lesson leans today y’all _ this is a win win situation ??? or else they could refuse my load because of their company policies ! Thanks ??Reily“
“I love kung fu tea because of the red bean fish cakes. They're a staple for when I'm visiting Knoxville. When it comes to the tea, however, it tends to be a little too sweet even when I order it less so. The oolong is the only flavor I've really liked, the matcha was bad and the lychee was just too sweet. Great food though:)“
“This place is really great. Glad to hear they are expanding to the food market.I do wish they would open earlier. I often wish I could stop by after dropping my son at school for a breakfast drink.Kid-friendliness: My son and his friends love this place.“
“I'm not sure who needs to know this, but they have vegan donuts! My husband, who is deathly allergic to dairy, has safely ate their donuts and loves them! The service has been great each time. I, personally, am not a fan of donuts, but I thoroughly enjoy their honey glazed donut. 10/10“
“I got the Peruvian decaf and it was smooth and NOT burned like is common at other places. The baked goods were decadent and left me wanting more. The owner served us and was super sweet while explaining everything since it was our first time.My wife used her laptop for work while we were here and the WIFI was stable and fast. Because of this and a relaxing atmosphere with lots of plants, it would be a good spot for small work outings / meetings or writing a paper.Overall, great experience and we will be coming back if we’re in this neck of the woods again.“
“Our coffees were great for the long trip. They had a nice full taste. They ladies there were super nice. I had actually talked to one of them about the plants they had. I wanted to know what type of plant it was. She asked if I wanted it. She said it was struggling to get enough light and what is needed.I just wanted to let her know that it was starting to get new leaves and is lookibg more vibrant.“
“Old City Java is a gem in Knoxville's coffee scene, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere perfect for catching up on work or enjoying a quiet moment. Their coffee is exceptional, with each cup brewed to perfection, showcasing rich and robust flavors. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a great blend or treat from their selection of pastries and snacks. It's the ideal spot for anyone seeking a quality coffee experience in a charming, relaxed setting.“
“Just had lunch there for the first time. The food Wes fresh and very good. Was able to order a French press with fresh coffe that was good. Got eggs scrambler Florentine. Was tasty. One large pan sketch on the side to try and it was very big and think. Will be back to try other menubitems that looked “
“This will be my third time coming here today I had ordered the mocha milk tea with regular Ice, regular sweetener and tapioca pearls and I also ordered a side of chicken bites. It’s a really really good place to come to if you’re really interested in Boba.“
“Being a Veteran is a call to serve for me. I served faithfully in the USAF for 23 years with no regrets. We have been blessed with recognitions from many businesses. We may ask if there is a military discount, but we never expect it and are very thankful for i when it is givent. For many of us who had missions not that favorable or rewarding we knew we had a purpose and did our best. I don't know where I was mentally this day but after getting all the answers from my questions about their donuts one of the owners (Jimmy), he boxed up my order, gave me an extra donut for my first time being there and then gave me this incredible discount for being a veteran . It blew my mind, I got choked up and took me to some place I hadnt been in a while. It's amazing how kind actions from stranger can really change your moment. I am in total support of status dough not only for the kindness shown, but the incredible delicious quality of the donuts they make. My favorite donut is the old fashion and they have the best I have ever had with the exceptions of the hot fresh ones out of the grease at a Publix in Florida where I worked as a kid during the 80's. They also had a seasonal Pumpkin old fashion that came in a close second. Their cinnamon Roll was like an elevated Honey bun. They were so much lighter and the glaze had to be honey because it tasted so natural and not super overdone sugar. My wife thought the Boston creme was amazing (her favorite donut). They make all the fillings and glazes from scratch and it really was proven when I bit into the blueberry Paczki ( polish donut). The filling bursted with fresh blueberry toast without overly sweet and the brioche dough was phenomenal. The final surprise was when jimmy recommended the vegan snickerdoodle donut. I don't care for snickerdoodle cookies and obviously not a vegan, but he had me already sold. When I brought it home my family loved it (even the picky 8 year old grandson) and it is now my number 3 favorite. I cant wait to see what the rest of the holidays come out with. They have me as a number one customer.“
“Cappuccino and cortado were nicely prepared though both had the exact same textured milk. The espresso was sweet and mild and meandered through the milk rather than a solid punch. Drinks are prepared in paper or plastic unless you request ceramic /glass.Variety of pastries / grab and go available.“
“The service at Scooter's is always exceptional and fast. I tried the cake bites this time and they are really yummy. I always enjoy their coffee as long as I stop by before noon time to get the special Fresh Brew of the day. I did notice one thing on this trip to Scooter's, that they're fresh brews are at a new price! Three times the price that I had paid in the past for a large. Small $1, medium $2, and large $3 through their coffee is always really good, hot and fresh. This will probably reduce the frequencies of my visits to Scooters.“
“I loved it there me and my sister went and it was fun athe atmosphere was amazing the food was to die for and I don't know if there's like multiple different people who work there. But only one works at a time. But the girl who was there when I went was super sweet. The cats were adorable they were fun to play with 10000000000000000000000/10Parking: The weird thing is that, so when you go there it's only like a tiny strip we can park. It's not like Tommy full is not cramped? But it's only like I think maybe like six cars can fit thereKid-friendliness: Yes, it's really nice for kids. Your kids won't get hurt there. The cats won't scratch“
“I go to this place after therapy every other Wednesday & it never disappoints. I typically will get an iced lavender matcha, but last time I got their fairy ring (matcha, strawberry, oat milk, & thyme) & felt transported to a new dimension. Highly recommend enjoying your drink with a walk around Old Grey. Also all the baristas are cool & hot, especially Kori. One of the best coffee shops in Knoxville!!!“
“Came a few minutes before they closed. Staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very kind/open. The coffee was a bit bitter, but I came late, so it's only to be expected. The flavors themselves were well balanced. I would recommend it to anyone visiting or living here!!!“
“The staff is amazing and I love the charm of the inside portion with the mix match chairs and the twinkle lights! Next time I'll be bringing my computer to work from here for a bit. Staff is super friendly and lots of good options for a girl who has lots of allergies (gluten & dairy included). Their mission is also great as portions of the money goes to adoption and foster care support!“
“My absolute favorite coffee shop in Knoxville! Kind and welcoming employees, fast service, yummy coffee + food, plenty of space, I just truly haven't found any cons. If you're looking for a more homey and cozy coffee shop, this is your place! And their mission of serving women in East Knox is beautiful!“
“Listen...Sunago is awesome; from the delicious coffee, to the food that is always supporting local businesses/bakeries, the well appointed design and atmosphere, all the way up to the service and owners. I love that Yelena (one of the owners) is always here with a friendly smile and gets to know her customers. Love that they bring in delicious food from folks that are starting businesses and they are supporting local instead of huge corporate conglomerates. Love that they support their staff and customers. Love how delicious every single thing I have had is, and that my order is LITERALLY ALWAYS RIGHT, and I know if it wasn't, they would be quick to fix it with a smile.I truthfully don't understand the negative reviews, especially the ones that are personally attacking people. If you have a one star experience and feel the need to post, then do it and leave personally attacking people out of it; but don't expect owners not to respond and be human - I happen to like sassy people who ARE NOT here for the Karen's and the Boomers - people get away with so much these days. YES, you can sit and chill and drink your drink and eat your food and study/sit on your laptop, and no one is going to harass you. Of course you cannot bring in outside food and drinks, it is a restaurant and a business. Huge corporations are ruining small business, living wages, and this country. This is a business, a locally owned and operated small business, support it, don't leach from it.It's yummy and cute, promise it'll be worth your time.“
“Just wanted to take a moment to shout of the partners working on Saturday 10/21 ! I’m a visiting partner so I love to stop in to new stores whenever I’m out and about. I stopped into this location and immediately felt so welcomed by the team here. They were very busy but they were hustling the entire time from what I saw while I waited for my drink, which was not long at all. Make sure to take sometime to appreciate them because they truly deserve it !“
“We really love the kid friendly elements here. It’s the only shop we feel like we can bring our kids (who are well-behaved and quiet) but it gives us a moment to drink a cup of coffee and talk while they draw or play with the kitchen. The coffee has been excellent and we’ve been about 10 times over the past month. The honey nut is liquid gold and I could drink it daily. Just bought Christmas gifts from the store yesterday! Would love to see some new items in the store too!“
“Very nice stop on the way to work. Very freindly kind staff and management. They went out of their way to brew fresh dark roast for me and even gave me a sample pour over coffee packet. Pleasant place to stop. Will return. Buildingvis very unique as well.“
“The donuts are absolutely delicious! No complaints there whatsoever. However, I was very disappointed they did not have the Jeep donut duck. Apparently a lot of other duck donut locations have these but for some reason the locations in Knoxville and Chattanooga do not. Not sure why but hope they rectify this.“
“EXPENSIVE but good. We got three bagel sandwiches, two lattes, and a drip coffee, and it was $60.No one disclosed to us that there were walnuts in the banana bread latte which i thought was unusual.Overall, they are fine. The bagels and coffee are good but I tend to avoid them because of the price point.“
“Recently discovered this gem downtown. We have visited a hand full of times within the past couple of weeks and only one time were we disappointed with our food which our bread was almost burnt to much to eat. We will continue to frequent as long as the food and service stay the way our other visits were! Our favorites are The Besty and The Royale!“
“Nice addition to the newly bustling Sevier Ave. area. Coffee drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. From my experience, they always have seating available after 5pm. The music in the afternoons can be loud and contains profanity, so not recommended for little ones. But hey, it’s a coffee shop, right? Overall, we love having afternoon coffee at this convenient and accessible location.“
“I've been to the downtown location many times and seen different people nearly everytime behind the counter, and everytime I go you can tell that every single one enjoys the craft. They even add latte art when it's in a closed cup! Bryce and Chase both gave amazing service during my last visit and made one of the best cappuccinos I've had. The attention to detail from the baristas still amazes me. They always have very unique bagels and the locally roasted beans are always fresh and smell amazing.Vegetarian options: Most of the bagels are vegetarian outside of the ones with cheese, and they offer substitutes for milk.Dietary restrictions: They have the option for substituting milk, and are willing to help with any other restrictions if possible.Kid-friendliness: They have a selection of bottled drinks for those not interested in coffee.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is level with the sidewalk and there are no inclines.“
“South Press is an amazing coffee shop. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but they have something for everyone. I got the chicken salad croissant and it was so good. The staff is super kind and helpful. The shop is very homily and inviting. It is also kind to all types which I really appreciate. Highly recommended a stop in to South Press.“
