My go-to is always the hot dog: packed with incredible flavor and steamed to absolute perfection every single time. The owners, Chris & Annette, are just as amazing as the food — warm, personable, and the kind of people who make you feel like family the moment you walk up. “I so appreciate that this restaurant is celiac-friendly and offers to change their gloves. We’ve never had an issue with cross contamination. This is one of the only places in Knoxville my daughter can safely eat. Thank you for being (mostly) gluten free!“

“Holy cow this place is amazing! I had seen it all the time, at least once a week for the last 20 years. I kept saying I wanted to try it, but never got around to it. Stopped at Weigel’s across the street and kept staring at it while I was pumping my gas until I was finally like “you know what? that’s where we’re going for lunch” and I am SO glad I did! Wonderful chicken, even better employees, and THE BEST sweet tea. Denton’s is definitely my favorite restaurant. I stop there all the time for a quick snack, lunch, or just to grab a tea. SO glad I found this place!“

“My first time at cookout and it was amazing. It’s so hard to find a place to eat today that’s good pricing and even better food. The lady at the counter was very nice I didn’t catch her name but she had a big smile and was helpful! It was also very clean.“
